Labour’s Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden MP comes under intense pressure from Camilla Tominey as she challenges him over rising youth unemployment and the role that mass immigration may be playing in the jobs market. When asked directly whether mass immigration has had an impact on youth unemployment, McFadden refuses to give a straightforward yes-or-no answer, leading to a tense exchange over Labour’s economic policies and their effect on young people struggling to find work.
The debate quickly escalates as Tominey points to the growing number of young people who are not in employment, education or training, arguing that the problem has been worsening for years. She presses the minister on whether Labour’s policies are helping or hindering efforts to get more young people into work, accusing the government of making an already difficult situation worse. McFadden defends the government’s approach, but the clash highlights the wider political debate over jobs, immigration and economic growth.
The interview also turns to the welfare system, with Tominey questioning McFadden over the dramatic decline in face-to-face appointments for people claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP). As concerns grow over support for vulnerable claimants and the effectiveness of government services, the Work and Pensions Secretary faces further scrutiny over whether enough is being done to address the challenges facing both jobseekers and benefit recipients. Watch the full exchange and decide for yourself who comes out on top.

Keir Starmer HITS BACK at Tony Blair
Sir Keir Starmer has hit back after Sir Tony Blair attacked the PM’s choices in government.
In an essay published by the the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, the former Prime Minister criticised the current chaos engulfing the Labour Party, arguing it has an “extraordinarily retro 20th-century feel to it”.

I am a skilled migrant on £140K annual salary. I pay almost £45k in taxes a year. On top of that my sponsor paid £25K for my visa including my spouse and kids, as well as NHS surcharge. Please tell me how me being in the UK is not a significant benefit to the UK economy and society. Please tell me how me being in the UK is a cost to the British people.

David Cameron, the Conservative PM, in 2010 promised to reduce immigration to 100,000 per year.
In 2022, it was 606,000.
The Conservatives are in their THIRTEENTH year in power and still blaming everyone else.

One million empty houses in Britain only 2% of the entire country has any infrastructure. That includes roads, houses, shops, airports, schools offices, warehouses, hospitals etc. Build 20 homes in every village and the problem is solved. Germany and France build 3 times more homes per year than the entire UK does. Secondly, demographics, Britain is an ageing population like all European countries. If you don't produce enough you will slip further behind.

If you look at how big countries are based on how much land they have the United Kingdom is 80 on the list of largest countries which means there are 79 countries which are larger than the UK
France is number 49!
Which basically means that France is a hell of a lot bigger than the UK! There are 79 more countries bigger than the UK.
Based on the highest populated countries the UK is number 12 which means there are only 11 countries with higher populations than the UK! This is completely unsustainable if the UK was a ship we would have already sunk by now the burden on the taxpayers, education, NHS even the environment is crippling and it will eventually collapse under the pressure and weight of completely uncontrolled immigration and population levels in the UK. Are government both parties are completely corrupt they are purging pro brexit members because they are traitors to brexit they want open borders, there is no other explanation then the years and two votes by citizens of this country for brexit and control to take control of our borders. No party has done this for years! We need a new party because this two party system doesn't work! The will of the people the majority should be absolute in the eyes of every single member of government. That is a true democracy.

I have a hunch that second hand car prices are so high because of immigration. It is affecting every part of life for ordinary people. Money shields you but ultimately it will impact everyone. It's embarrassing to have Indians as one of the core groups of legal and illegal immigrants and an Indian PM and Home Secretary. I am waiting to be told by our PM that we are not being replaced …yeah and I'm a Dutchman
