The BBC had a one liner on this…. no government should appoint the head of the BBC.
NOT ONE MENTION THAT BOTH LABOUR & THE TORYS HAVE DONE THIS SINCE THE BBCs INCEPTION.
After only hauling the present government over the coals for it.
All media news lies or twists shite for agenda reasons. Including you GB news. You've lied over lots of stuff on covid and Ukraine.

we don't need to pay for the privilege of being told what to think, scrap the TV license and then the BBC can say what they bloody well like!

This guy is probably just a scapegoat to the involvement of many others, the BBC as an institution was no longer fit for purpose after the cover-up of Saville and others, to say they are impartial is also a totally foreign notion as i'm sure it has always been.

Why didnโ€™t this โ€˜honourableโ€™ โ€˜manโ€™ resign months ago? Why wasnโ€™t he sacked months ago? So many crooks in with the Tory gangsters. Time to investigate the theft of billions of public money by Sunak and his gang. Gb news is as bad as this crook.

  33. @GriefTourist

    January 1, 2024 at 9:26 am

These people hate the BBC because it isn't 100% a Pravda type PR machine for neoliberalism. It's now lost some of its credibility which people like Sharp won't care about. Indeed that was probably the intention. People are terrified of upsetting certain people cos they know their life is over if they do!

Getting bored with saying this but this government is simply not fit for purpose including the ineptness of their appointees. Its attempts at deflection simply do not work anymore because their mistakes are multiple. Be interesting to see the upcoming local council results

    January 1, 2024 at 9:26 am

I stopped taking this seriously when he said, "impartial". The BBC's agenda has done more than any other UK establishment to undermine this once great DEMOCRACY. Thank you for nothing.

SHOCKING: Record 6,000 children referred to anti-terror scheme

Published

By

REVEALED: More than 6,000 children were referred to the anti-terror Prevent scheme last year, staggering new data has revealed.

Uncovered by the Daily Mail, a record number of under-18s were referred to the scheme over concerns for their “obsession” with “violence and extremism”.

The latest figures show 6,085 children were referred to the programme last year, a threefold increase from the 2,129 cases logged in 2020.

The data was obtained by the Conservative Party through freedom of information requests to the National Police Chiefs’ Council.

Labour SPLIT over employers aren’t ‘working peopleโ€™ definition to avoid breaking tax-hike claims

Treasury Minister has sparked widespread outrage after claiming that employers are “not working people”.

Appearing on GB News this morning, Emma Reynolds told host Camilla Tominey that they are “companies” instead.

Pressing Ms Reynolds on Labour’s Budget statement on Wednesday, which raised income tax on rents and interests, Camilla questioned whether the manifesto has been “broken”.

Meghan’s father branded ‘possible sex offender of the grossest kind’ by Philippine minister

Published

on

By

The Philippines’ interior minister Jonvic Remulla has claimed Thomas Markle Senior appears to be a “possible sex offender of the grossest kind.”

Mr Remulla said forensic investigators are expected to complete their work within seven days, at which point a formal statement will be issued.

Thomas Markle Snr. has acknowledged paying for sex in the Southeast Asian nation but categorically denies possessing any child sexual abuse material and engaging in sexual activity with anyone under 18.

The discovery that prompted the investigation came from Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, who told The Sun on Friday that he had uncovered child sex abuse images at their father’s former Philippine residence. He subsequently filed reports with both Philippine authorities and the FBI.

The Duchess of Sussex wrote what was described as a final letter to her father during his recovery from a leg amputation last year, GB News understands.

Thomas Sr., 82, has also been strongly defended by Meghanโ€™s half-sister Samantha, who says the claims are false and form part of a “vendetta” Thomas Jr. has against their father.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond tells GB News she now understands why Meghan seemingly kept her distance from her father.
