You can’t stop this you must let them have it out to satisfy. Hamas wants to kill Jews and Jews protect their civilians. Please let them fight and see who wins.

Drive the Muslim Arabs out of Israel. Israel let them into their country. Now they will pay a high price in Israeli lives. The terrorist (Hamas) will not stop until the Christians are driven out of Israel. It hasn't changed in 15 years. Seal the borders and prepare for a very bloody war. This will only get worse from now on. The world needs to stay out of this. After all this is the one place where the chance of a world war starting is the greatest. If an Arab country decides to get involved then America must also become military involved. Our brain dead president and vice is the last people you want in this situation.

Russia hits train in Ukraine after Boris Johnson, top European officials leave station | BBC News

Published

on

A Russian drone has hit a train near the Ukraine-Poland border shortly after former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and top European security officials had passed through.

No casualties were reported after the strike at Yahodyn, which hit the train’s engine. All the passengers had been evacuated, Ukrainian authorities said.

Johnson and other European national security advisers, including the UK’s Jonathan Powell, had passed along the same line on a different train on their way back from a conference in Kyiv.

Russia said it had struck “railway infrastructure” in western Ukraine, but Ukraine’s state railway company Ukrzaliznytsia said that “quite possibly, the target of this drone could have been the diplomatic train”.

Nato is urged to target Russian drones over Ukraine and other top stories | Global News Podcast

Published

on

A US-based think tank, the Institute for the Study of War, has said Nato should consider intercepting Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace, after a drone struck a train near the Polish border. The attack happened soon after a train carrying top European security officials and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson had passed through the same station. The Nato chief Mark Rutte said Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure near the bloc’s territory would not undermine the alliance’s unity or its support for Ukraine.

Brexit: UK to quit EU at 23:00 GMT – BBC News

Published

on

The UK will leave the EU at 23:00 GMT, ending 47 years of membership.

In a video message to be released an hour earlier, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will call Brexit – which follows more than three years of political wrangling – a “new dawn”.

A series of events including marches, celebrations and candlelit vigils will be held by both Brexiteers and pro-EU demonstrators.

Little will change immediately, as the UK begins a “transition period”.

Most EU laws will continue to be in force – including the free movement of people – until the end of December, by which time the UK aims to have reached a permanent free trade agreement with the EU.

Ukraine and Russia strike energy targets despite Trump claim and other stories | Global News Podcast

Published

on

There has been no pause in fighting between Russia and Ukraine, despite US President Donald Trump’s claim that both sides would temporarily stop targeting each other’s critical energy infrastructure. Russia says a gas pipeline was hit in the south of the country in an attack overnight, while officials in the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine said Russian attacks had disrupted power supplies to some areas. Moscow has targeted Ukraine’s power grid throughout the war, leading to significant blackouts. Meanwhile, Kyiv has ramped up its strikes on oil refineries and other energy facilities, as its drones and missiles reach further into Russian territory.
