then tiktok will delete your account for being healthy.. kids will rather have tiktok then healthy food.. So who would win? tiktok or the British government? Going by kids today? id say tiktok. So go ahead and make your silly rules and regs. it wont matter when the rest of the world is going woke. only a matter of time before this conversation is obsoleted by the Elites. cant force woke on the nation if government starts to contradict itself and its agenda. its all small talk to say well, we did talk about it… you think we are stupid. the Elite are going through with it weather we want it or not.. its called tyranny!

Most processed food is poison. Residue of pesticides on fruit and vegetables is poison.

Here's the thing: Fructose consumption skyrocketed after the 1970s with the creation of High Fructose Corn Syrup. With it, sugar consumption in general went through the roof. Fructose is highly addictive, it is metabolized like alcohol by the human body (with the same detrimental effects), and actively suppresses the satiety hormone. It is the primary cause of obesity. Western people were poisoned by this stuff. It is in everything, and multiple generations have now been consuming it since childhood.
Furthermore, it is possible to suffer from metabolic syndrome – the collection of life-threatening health problems associated with obesity – without being visibly obese.

Given these facts, government intervention should be demanded by any sane person. Because when your food supply has been adulterated with something damaging and addictive, and it's being fed to children in vast quantities (kids and grownups love it so, as the adverts boast), it's no longer a matter of "choice" or "common sense"; people don't know. And the food industry has been acting like a legalised drug dealer.

Put simply, stop talking about "unhealthy food"; focus on the primary culprit. Fructose first, then sugar in general. People, right now, are happily feeding their children something that is equivalent in toxicity to alcohol. It's in the condiments. It's in the baked beans. It's in the fizzy drinks. It's in the sweets. It's in the bread. It's literally in anything they can get away with putting it in, and so far they've even gotten away with putting it in baby formula.

People need to stop whining about the "nanny state" and "big brother" and realise; on this occasion? You need government regulation.

The Government never tell people to stop drinking alcohol although I'm pretty sure that's a huge burden on the nhs.
    I Wonder why.

Salt is essential for your nervous system etc and it's always chastised. Does my head in.

£5.50 for a meal deal at an M+S service station. Hardly cheap is it.

A cheese sandwich AND a yoghurt sounds like overindulgence imo.

  13. @Doctor1933

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Yes they should least ban all unhealthy food meat as well pork is bad for your health if governments really care they will not sell alcohol and smoking as well.

  14. @smeg5935

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

basically…people should have the freedom to eat whatever they want, it's not the governments position to force people otherwise. If people's health is effected by this decision that's their own fault.

  15. @54000biker

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Cut out white bread, sugar, cakes buns, biscuits, pies, curry (with trans fats), pizza, chips, etc., and you will be fine.
Eat Fish (not covered in batter) chicken, turkey, veg., fruit, and drink lots of water.
You will feel tired for a couple of weeks as your body adjusts but then you will be ok.

  16. @pippasessment1

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Hang on…aren't we supposed to be embracing obese people now?

  17. @instantkarma1229

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Another pointless policy, if people can’t control what goes into their mouths then it’s their own fault. If you really wanted to ban something that forced people to lose weight then ban chocolate, sugar, crisp and alcohol.

Our government want us fat and useless, they can steal more from us when our brains are all sugared up and can’t think for ourselves ‼️

  19. @dizzydaydream9647

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Isn’t it everything in moderation??!!! It’s another feather in the “we will control every aspect of your life” government hat!! It’s one thing after another! Our freedoms are rapidly being removed from under our noses and we have no say in any of it!! I am a nurse and am a very healthy 52 year old. Why should I have to be penalised by not being allowed to have a tasty meal deal on my night shift if I fancy one. My main diet is home cooked and balanced and I eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day so tell me why I have to conform to the laws of the masses all the time. We are becoming more communist every day!

No the government should mind it's own business i think it's time we let these crooked globalist and these crooked politicians tell us what to do

  22. @MrKn0wb0dy

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

NO! Stay out of our lives government. Educate, make healthy options more available and support those who need it in various ways but don’t play God and tell us how to live.

  23. @dftfire

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

I'm not sure why people say banning Meal Deals would impact the poorest… the average meal-deal now is about £4, so if you had one everyday for work that would be £20 a week. Are the poorest really buying them? 🤷🏻‍♂️

  24. @wealdtkd3559

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

If you are going to do anything, then make the producers use less sugar, salt and bad "natural sugars". We survived and were healthier back in the 70's, 80's etc. Tackle the root cause of the problem, educate the kids at school better and promote better living options.

  25. @truthwillout7

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Meal deals are expensive overpriced rubbish. Not exactly the first thing that people struggling financially would choose from the shelves. Ban them, so that they can choose a cheaper and nutritious alternative. They need education and not to be lazy by making their own cheaper lunch!

The woman who thinks government should dictate what people eat is completely bonkers. She sounds like she's drunk all the koolaid and it was spiked. Seriously, people like that should be locked up – she is a danger to herself and especially others. Clearly she's never been in a school lunchroom. Most of the "nutritious" food is dumped in the trash because it isn't fit for humans to eat.

  30. @cassandrade-wolfe6926

    December 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

Should we ban Meal Deals ?
Or…..maybe Illegal migrants who scrounge off the UK tax payer….and demand better WiFi?
Sort the important things out …FFS.

Why doesnt the government all sell the 4 houses they own each ,,that we are paying for ,,cut their wages ,that they do not deserve ,just to fall asleep in the house of commons and get paid a big fat wage ,,cut their wages and give it to people who need it to actually be able to afford to eat healthy ,,stop giving us crap advice ,whilst you all live in luxury ,at OUR EXPENSE 😠😡😤
