How scammers are hijacking Ukraine war charity donations – BBC News
Fraudsters are masquerading as victims of Russia’s war in Ukraine in an attempt to steal charitable donations.
False charity websites have also been created by con-artists to seize on people’s eagerness to help victims of the crisis and trick people into donating.
There have been 2.8 million fraudulent emails looking to gain donations, with fraudulent crypto-currency wallet addresses, according to software firm Proofpoint’s figures.
Cyber security researcher Ax Sharma said scammers would often try to appeal to someone’s emotions, such as by using photos of women and children during the war.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.

It has been five years since the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan, as western forces left, imposing their extreme, ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam on millions of people.
Their return to power brought relative peace to the country after two decades of war.
But Afghan women have been erased from public life. Girls are banned from school from the age of 12, and aren’t allowed to go to university.
Public parks are also off limits to women – and they can’t travel abroad without a male companion.

One huge scam is the fact that Ukrainian leader is asking for billions and billions of dollars every month from America. I met one scammer from India, showing that he is from Ukraine and looking for projects and earn for his ukrainian family, however after reaching Customer Support for confirmation they confirm that he created fake profile location, he is actually belong from India. they suspended his account, A scammer from India

Criminals who defraud donators in this way are such amateurs 🤣😂 Just open a charity in UK, and you’re good to go. Charity commission is a joke. Over the years I’ve seen so many crazy but reasonably expected situations – where the commission lacks rules & regulations to counter this. I’m talking about legal loopholes that are so obviously immoral but because of lack of interest in regulating services, have been left open to interpretation… In short criminals who pull a scammer card are morons, because charity status basically gives fraudsters legal rights to continue scamming the public for years!
