Think about how Ange has handled Harry Kane leaving the club – calm, confident, we'll be okay and the effect this has had on the players, the fans, and the media. This could have turned Spurs into a dumpster fire if not handled properly. How many other EPL managers could have handled this as well?

Jesus they played well in one half of football. The other top teams would have been 3 up by half time against them. We can’t put the ball in the net but I think United’s fitness is way off. Credit Spurs. Played well second half but the absolute fawning over them by the media is a bit over the top

Im from the US and have been a hardcore Tottenham fan since 2016. I can say without a doubt I have never felt this good about winning a cup since I have been a fan. This is the hungriest and happiest team Ive seen.

It's not a lack of expectation this season. It's not a more relaxed opinion of what Spurs can achieve. It's not some knock-on effect of Harry Kane leaving…

Never wanted Jose or Conte. Who plays counter attack with a shit defence for 90 mins🤦🏻♂️😂 but the football was horrible to watch 90-95% of the time (especially conte). Not the players fault either, you can see they always looked uncomfortable. At the end for conte, it looked like he’d told them to wait for him to say CHARGE…and just forgot most the time. It looked like the holding back was so forced and then he blames the players, yet is just making them defend from the start. Sometimes I’d turn it off after 15 mins and just turn it back on at 65-70 mins…because that’s when we started to play a bit.
Ange is looking great, positive football, instilling belief, chemistry is better when they’re enjoying themselves and they learn each others natural movement, not their forced movement. You can see they look like mates loving football in the park…I love it!😂
Im actually excited. Do I think Prem league, no,it’s two games in😂 but if it happened would I be shocked…not completely.And that is a million miles away from where I was with conte, Jose or poch in his last season. We’re two games in and it could all go south…I just don’t think it will. Ppl can praise Conte all they want, but it genuinely looked like he didn’t know what he was doing half the time.

It was all doom & gloom at the start of the summer, but oddly it looks like Kane chose the exact wrong moment to leave. Is a Bundesliga & German Cup going to scratch his trophy itch? The move won't many sense unless he wins the Champions League. It would be darkly ironic if Spurs won something without him in the next couple of seasons!
