Nato to send 700 more troops to Kosovo after clashes – BBC News
Nato is to deploy an additional 700 troops to Kosovo after 30 Nato peacekeepers and 52 protesters were hurt in clashes on Monday.
Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the attacks were “unacceptable” and “must stop”.
Police and Nato troops clashed with Serb protesters in north Kosovo, where there has been unrest over the installation of ethnic Albanian mayors.
Protesters had tried to invade a government building in Zvecan.

It has been five years since the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan, as western forces left, imposing their extreme, ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam on millions of people.
Their return to power brought relative peace to the country after two decades of war.
But Afghan women have been erased from public life. Girls are banned from school from the age of 12, and aren’t allowed to go to university.
Public parks are also off limits to women – and they can’t travel abroad without a male companion.

China has warned there is a “high risk” that a lake which formed after the recent landslide near the Nepal-Tibet border may breach its banks, causing a second flood downstream.
The warning comes after Wednesday’s deadly flash flood in the same area which has killed more than 500.
Scientists say it was triggered by the collapse of a mountain glacier into a river.

The Netflix show Emily in Paris has been lauded by French President Emmanuel Macron, who presented its creator, Darren Star, with the prestigious Légion d’Honneur last year.

NATO plans to expand its headquarters to find space for new members
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is considering the construction of an additional building and reorganization of office space in Brussels, trying to find space for the mission of newly admitted Finland and all future potential members, reported the website of Euractiv news, citing member states' diplomats.
"Finland's move to NATO Headquarters will be completed in the coming weeks and months," confirmed a NATO official.

The muslim kosovars advocated for the right of self-determination to become an independent country and secede from Serbia. United States and its European vassals of the NATO supported it. However, they ban the four municipalities in Northern Kosovo inhabited mostly by christian serbians from exercising the same principle of self-determination for the simple reason that Serbia is a Russia's ally. These are the NATO's double standards.

Yet another example of the failing of the UN to resolve global issues, one which continues to be unresolved after 15 years. The fact that it is NATO and not UN peace keepers there has made it worse if anything, with Serbs taking a hostile attitude to their presence.

in the old days there was only the Illyrian peninsula and this land was all the countries today in the Balkans = so there was only 1 language, it was Albanian. the Greco-Slavs came and after the Byzantine era, i.e. the 9/11 century – after the time of P.Ottomans, our lands were occupied by the Greeks/Slavs and partisan communists 1945 = long and happy life for the population that gave everything for the development of this world by starting from the war of Troy, Dardania, Roman times, the Latin alphabet and today we are being punished that some of our neighbors do not want the truth to come out that their tales will fall.

The Serbian state has many war criminals, all those murders and rapes that were committed in the 90s, none of these criminals were ever arrested, the Serbian government keeps them when they need to, as happened last week in Kosovo.
