With all these Banks’ huge profits that the public have bailed out how come our NHS is a mess, our trains are a mess, our High Streets are a mess, let us be honest the Government have made a total mess of the country.
They blamed so much on past Governments yet went on to make our beautiful country a country not worth living in unless you are a War Criminal fleeing justice.

It wa not a grovelling apology, and your headline is ttoally mis leading.

it as a relucant apology edged with total lies, excuses and ifs and maybes.

The whole of the boards of Natwest group and associated companies need to resign with immediate effect as shoud all the employees involved in the decision, for acting politically and removing banking facilities from thir custimerrs, without good reason.

Inn addition they shouuld be banned from ever being employed by any banling oranisattion and if they have a proffessional qualification or membership this should be removed from them for bringing the associaltion ino disrepute!

The data protection registrar needs to procecute them and ban them from acting in any GDPR position!

Phew – a senior member of a bank divulging private customer data – makes you wonder how secure anyone's data is – if staff can potentially break all the laws and still be retained by a bank (unless forced to 'let them go').

Not to mention the employee not being sent to jail. It seems the law in the UK doesn't apply equally to all – you can break the law as long as you have friends in high places. The BBC should also get a massive fine for publishing this data

This Rose character reminds of that harpie Paula Vennells CBE in the Post Office / Horizon scandal, the one who knowingly persecuted entirely innocent postmasters. Untouchable females at the top of the tree. Before anyone jumps onto me for this remark, yes
I worked for years in an organisation with a marvellous female CEO, am not anti female bosses, just anti the incompetent and malevolent ones who seem to be immune from being called out for their dire performance

Think about every other account that has been cancelled because of their political opinion! This is outrageous!

  12. @jimballantine4408

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

I think a lot of this is because large organisations have swallowed a pile of bs by 'advisors' along the lines of big changes coming where black and ethnic minority groups will actually be a majority and whose opinions matter and they have the money to make or break these organisations and the organisations are trying to get ready for that day

    COUTTS:
How will the banks expunge the Bankers false slur and propose full compensation ?
    # Have you ever been refused an account/ or have you had a bank account closed ?
Call for an EGM to hear the proposals on these matters.

It's a striking reality you can be cancelled for any reason and of your not rich enough jog on. That bloke in the white shirt is immune granted but where's the freedom of MY speach? Am I right wing for not believing in Adam and Steve? No I'm normal and think normal and speak my truth just like Adam and Steve have there right to there view

She’s forgotten to apologise to everyone who voted for Brexit, Donald Trump, Ricky Gervais, to name but a few.

The ICO have not said a word about the breach of GDPR

How dare these companies and organisations push the diversity rhetoric down our throats whilst denying our views and decisions, all whilst taking our MONEY like in 2008.
    Morally corrupt and deluded

  21. @richardplane2155

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

It wasn't an apology. Overpromoted, overpowered undereducated beaurocrats paralysing their own business. Banks going too far in one direction then the other. How unusual. Fire them all

  22. @jeannotnelson4048

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

and you do not want to employ people who 'cowtow' to bullies in the business as then your business will surely fall due to lack of accountability and dishonesty and the quality of untruthful people they are breeding.

What's it got to do with the bank's where a man puts his penis.?

  24. @andrewgamble5332

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

For £5 million a year I would offer an apology to the whole planet especially if I had undermined the central tenets of the banking service. If this individual "earns" that amount what does a bus driver,a consultant or ticket office staff "earn"?The difference of course is between paid and earn.

    Farage for PM

  26. @proudpict2057

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

You can bet bank employees sign a contract and are warned with sacking if they disclose customer details.

  27. @proudpict2057

    December 27, 2023 at 5:37 pm

So a bank CEO, the BBC and no doubt political opponents conspired to shut down Nigel’s account.
Careful, those same rules could be turned on the conspirators themselves.
