“Britain’s MOST EXPENSIVE Airbnb” – Will Kensington MOCKS the STATE of the UK
Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.
This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.

Hi Gbnews, this is absolutely shocking. I inherited from my late Aunt last year, 1.2 million, and yes sadly she passed because of covid 96 years of age. The point I'm making here is, for people that don't know how probate works , you file a complete IHT 400 and before you are allowed the official probate document you have to pay Inheritance tax which in my case was £200 thousand pounds, which I paid and received probate. Now how the hell can gangs obtain these loans ??? What happened to credit checks ? I get access to my free credit check every month which is 999 the highest you can get. How is this even possible absolutely shocking behaviour from this government, I've heard it all now, Boris johnson close the door on the way out. This country needs new fresh faces new people and new party. Shocking!!!!!

And since, HMRC's telephone lines are closed for numerous, legitimate queries… due to the fact that they have nearly 2 years of unopened post to clear. Our Covid Furlough/Grants scheme were one of the best in the World, and for that I applaud Rishi – this kept many small businesses trading during the Covid lockdowns. There are always going to be the money grabbing fraudsters and for that reason alone I know that claims should have been far more complicated, and details of a grant made clearer… I'm saying this as one of my clients queried their tax bill (as they hadn't been able to work) but had received 2 Covid Grants, which equated to higher than their normal annual earnings, but they obviously hadn't incurred their normal expenditure…😆🥺

Its so serious and why do i say i am not surprised by this report, anything this government and those useless civil servant touch is a complete cock up, and we the tax payer foot the bill, it is totally unacceptable. and nothing will be done.

A cut in civil servant exspences and wages across the board and frozen for 40 years that helps towards the dept they created also anyone who had furlough hand outs who also had savings pay it back I'm self employed I've been living off my savings !!! God bless us all.

The government offered 50 thousand pounds and everyone and everyone applied who had a company and bank account..
People applied online and the money was in their account in 72 hours, everyone was on the bandwagon telling others, you need a company and a bank account.. That was it…… 50k they spent and will never give it back. I on the other hand major tax payer did not receive a brass farthing.. Biggest burden online sales from Amazon ect..for taking British money and paying taxes elsewhere.. tax at purchase a new your not escaping paying for having our citizens as customers. Stop ravaging the shop keepers and get online sale taxes together. NOW
@tomsawyer4321
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
Another misdirection! You can bet the majority of inappropriate loans went to civil servants and politicians acquaintances. Very few genuinely deserving folk got the relief required but plenty of high flyers have invested low interest cash for massive gain

@lilizzie86
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
When they said they are cutting the need to repay the money that was defrauded for COVID loans, do you really think those lenders who lent us trillions of pounds going to say oh it’s okay you misspent that money or some of that money was defrauded, don’t worry we will cut that out your overall bill??? I highly doubt it, us as a nation and the future generations are still going to have to pay back the full bill, so the innocent are double conned and subjected to extreme hardships whilst those who committed fraud nearly get off Scot free, and yet you call that fair decent or honest?
@brightonduder
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
There was no time to audit the applications because of the immediate lockdowns – and the fault was further upstream ie there should have been NO lockdowns. All the shitshow unintended consequences will be haunting us for a decade or more
@jackdelaney6633

it should be childsplay to retrieve this money, everyones tax return should show up any fruad surely!

The tip of the fuc*ed up covid response iceberg and that's one seriously large iceberg.
@AbbyGirl11

I like the softly spoken Mr Portillo with his ability to call out the absolutely astonishing mismanagement of people’s money without the usual screaming and bad language used by other presenters. His clear and concise dissection of the problem with sensible solutions is really refreshing. More please.

Fraudsters claimed £4.3 billion during Covid no thanks to the useless Rishi Sunak!
Banks warned him to do proper checks on businesses applying for loans through the banks, but Richi told banks not to do any checks and the treasury will guarantee these loans!
And I believe billions more have been scooped and will never been seen or traced, because it will cost tens of millions to investigate and try to get 1% of the stolen loans!
That's why Rishi wrote the £4.3 billion off!!
@carlfenwick8512
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
It would be just too embarrassing for the government to admit that they have been grossly inefficient and have wasted taxpayer's money during the pandemic. They can't afford to show up the civil service and public sector for being unfit for purpose.

Can you imagine how many hospitals could have been build with 47 billion pounds. Only one state of the art cost 100 million pounds.
@familycompactthegrange7014
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
This is a serious scandal, but if people don't start making a big fuss about it to their MPs, BTL, letters to newspapers – anything to keep it high up the list of current newsworthy items – then it will disappear, and it is a very good point to raise when questioning this government's desire to tax us to the hilt.
@michael99er
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
Funny isn't it, they spent half a trillion pounds on this pandemic …knowing full well WE would be paying for it. Nice!

@garyowen4112

i think we all know that its the tip of the iceberg,its the paying it back thats worrying ordinary people because its we who will end up paying it back
@johnmarsh2078
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
HHJudge Cross (by name and by nature) is right. Money was doled out like sweets with no checks or balances. At least £4 billion has been written off as unrecoverable already and this is the tip of the iceberg. The salaries and expenses of ministers and civil servants involved in drafting and implementing the rules governing these loans should be reduced to reflect the unnecessary waste of OUR money on crooks and fraudsters.
@mabaker391
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
So what is being said without actually saying so is that the whole point behind this lockdown BS is that it was the perfect opportunity to access large amounts of money without being detected…. 😳
@ogasi1798
December 27, 2023 at 3:23 am
the annoying this is there will be more public outrage at a few commoners who robbed the state than the bastards in gvt like hancock and the rest who set their mates up for contracts worth MILLIONS with zero dilligence over costs and concerns… DIVIDE AND CONQUER – be aware when you see the stories.. Where has the real money gone? Not 50k, that matters not on the grand scheme – LOOK PAST THE SHITTY headline of a 'judge' sowing his disdain for the proles who got one over the system
