After another tough week for the Prime Minister, speculation was rife that Boris Johnson would be ousted by his own Tory MPs in a vote of no confidence. But that never materialised. So in this video, we explain what’s happened so far, how he managed to hold onto power and what might happen going forward.

I don’t vote, never have partly because I don’t want to blame myself for picking a end of the day arsehole, so Boris hails from a very long line of arseholes, all have walked those halls each with arseability to ruin our lives instead of seeking out what’s right for our country and it’s people who keep it financially stable, so I don’t want see people surprised that yet another pm is a arsehole, Boris will eventually get kicked out, but I will guarantee you it will be another arsehole even if you didn’t vote the biggest bleached sphincter will reign on your wages and way of living, it’s high time we put the government to bed and gave it nil by mouth, in my book it’s in palliative care and very much dying, got 2 more years to go and I am off to the land down under for the rest of Ma days

Can someone from Britain or Ireland please explain in idiot’s language what exactly happened and the process to impeach Johnson or otherwise force him to leave office?

What would happen if Johnson leaves office for whatever reason?

What is the 1992 club, or whatever it’s called? What does it do?

  8. @sureshiyengar7556

Unable to understand how he got elected by people of great Britain.

  9. @MrBarns95

    December 27, 2023 at 10:02 am

I suspect the true reason for Johnson not being removed is the lack of a viable popular alternative leader, just as is the case for Kier Starmer, these men are stewards

They're all self-serving rats. The Tories are haemorrhaging members and the front bench are bickering amongst themselves to fuel their power-fantasies. Someone else needs to be in charge now, after 10+ years of a Tory government. I'd like something different.

People are so short-sighted and naive to think that this is someone who is a good PM. He is a laughing stock for the whole world for goodness sake! GB had such outstanding PMs who didn’t do as much harm to British reputation but no, some British still want to vote for him.

  35. @1996Horst

    December 27, 2023 at 10:02 am

    How did he survive.
    Simple enough.
His party is in the shitbucket to their necks.
If they cling to Johnson they will sink, if they get rid of him they will instantly fall to the bottom and then can start rising again.

In the long run getting rid of him would be better, but in the short term it would be worse. And if politicians are good at anything it is looking at the short term.

The problem of Johnson will be left for the ones coming into Parliament after them, and most seem to hope that they can get back in with personal charm rather than party image
