Yeah, but we plucky Brits certainly told Johnny Foreigner how to fuck himself! Granted, Johnny Foreigner didn't care that the UK had left the EU, or even really notice, and Brexit is supercharging the collapse of the British economy that has been engineered by the incompetent thieves purporting to run it, but it has all been worth it because "we got our country back"! Didn't we….?

What the UK is doing is a lot like smoking a pack of cigarettes each day and then when you get lung cancer saying: "must've been the traffic on the streets". Even you guys seem to be especially careful not to accidentally kick any Brexiteer in the balls.

@mariolis
December 27, 2023 at 12:52 am
Ironically , higher inflation compared to the EU might mean Brittish exports are now cheaper and thus maybe alleviate the brexit-caused GPD reduction
I said ironically , because thats how developing economies deal with economic cryses… not something that a developed country and supposed world leader like the UK should be doing
By the way I am from Greece and thanks to the Euro not allowing us to inflate is theorised to have caused our economic cryses to have been so much worse than anywhere else … and more than that also caused a big rise in Euroscepticism… I used to be a eurosceptic … not anymore (though I have to admit , it wasnt the negative effects of brexit that made me change my mind)

December 27, 2023 at 12:52 am
The English and Welsh will never be forgiven for what they have done to the UK. These people actually thought that acting on their racist attitudes to immigrants would make a difference to this country and "take back control".
the £350 million that can now be spent on the NHS, where is it brexitiers? Are nurses and doctors going to get a wage rise that matches inflation or will they actually have to strike to get what they want? Now the politicians that are taking back control, do you think they are "all in this together" with you, me and the other British people that are ALL fucking struggling to make ends meet?
If any Brexit voter is on this, please tell me. What rule did you not agree with that the EU enforced upon the UK?

Immigrants 18+ should serve compulsory military service, trained as army personnel & sent overseas to their requisite training. Britain owns a vast overseas empire still & compulsory training would sort through loyalty issues. If they'll fight for the UK, let them be rewarded: otherwise GO.

The country is full of lazy people! Productivity is forever low. There are generations who have never worked! Why should they when you can survive quite well on benefits! There was a day when men were ashamed to sign the dole, but I'm afraid that generation has passed. The real poor are the working people who get by working hard without benefits for very little.

LOW GROWTH AND HIGH INFLATION.
BOTH CAUSED BY WHAT?
*the job retention scheme
Government paying 80% of wages
Furlough scheme
Various bail-outs of businesses
Those same businesses, and many more, going bust
All in 2020-21*
The upshot of which is between
2-3 BILLION POUNDS in extra debt.
Brexit? How come countries outside Europe have the same issues?
Recession? What recession?
Try depression

Singapore increases trade with every country even China. Built and attract foreign investments. How about UK? Works only with US, fear mongering at Russia and China. Just like EU and US economy now… Pretty much doomed.

And I’m saying this after the clusterfuck that was the Tory governments falling repeatedly. Get ya shit together.
Edit: Forgot to mention, seems like trade barriers with your large trading partners doesn’t seem so smart anymore.

i do not understand , intelligent people not willing to articulate that all the Brexit, at the incitation and help from the Lebedev war lords likes, was designed to rip Britaine off Europe for the sole purpose to be a playground for the oligarcs all over the world, with the City (you know what I mean , you brits..the shady mole that you harbour in London) and the tax haven sattelites islands at the heart of a new empire, financial one this time, allied with the dark money.
