Russia warns Ukraine conflict could lead to World War Three – BBC News
The UN estimates almost 5,000 civilians have already died and 11 million people have been displaced in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some are still trapped in the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol as fighting intensifies around them.
Secreatary General of the UN António Guterres will travel to Moscow today and to Ukraine on Thursday to try to broker peace talks. But hopes of peace are slim with Russia suggesting that there is a danger of the Ukraine conflict leading to world war three.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.
Foreign ministry spokesman Lin Jian said China was firmly opposed to what it called “illegal unilateral sanctions” and would take “all necessary measures” to safeguard its rights.
US President Donald Trump has said that the US Navy has removed or detonated all mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

It has been five years since the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan, as western forces left, imposing their extreme, ultra-conservative interpretation of Islam on millions of people.
Their return to power brought relative peace to the country after two decades of war.
But Afghan women have been erased from public life. Girls are banned from school from the age of 12, and aren’t allowed to go to university.
Public parks are also off limits to women – and they can’t travel abroad without a male companion.

Actually the war started with Ukrainians defending their freedoms when the Ukrainians passed the law stripping ethnic minorities of their human rights and making it illegal for the Russians even speak language and you crayed even though they may have lived there for 300 years peacefully. It's quite hypocritical of him to talk about human rights of the people and he killed and the previous government almost 20000 people because they were ethnic Russians. Pretty well all countries have ethnic minorities but you don't strip them of their civil rights and not expect the problem and now you're talking about fighting for rights that's what started it

The most important thing for all of to do in wartime and in peace has always been to be spiritually prepared for our eternal lives before we leave this temporary world and temporary part of our lives separated from God because of sin, by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior Who died to pay for our sins for us to reconcile us sinners with God to give us eternal life with Him, by believing the Gospel that:
Jesus Christ came down here from heaven, God on earth, to be born one of us His own creation and He dwelt among us for over three decades and He lived a perfect sinless life, then He gave His sinless life to all people from all nations to pay for our sins for us, by dying on the cross and resurrecting from the dead three days later, to pay for our sins and defeat eternal death and Satan for us, to reconcile us sinners with God to give us eternal life with Him, and after He resurrected from the dead, He lived on earth for forty more days, speaking to many people, then He ascended back up into heaven and He is coming back again at the end of this world to set up His eternal heavenly kingdom and all people will see Him and have our sins judged by Him.
If we do not repent of our sins before we leave this world and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior Who died to pay for our sins for us to reconcile us sinners with God, then our sins will remain with us at the final judgment and there is no other salvation for us. Obey God, repent of sins and be spiritually born again by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior.
