Iceland on track to reject EU referendum as counting nears end | BBC News
Iceland has voted against resuming membership talks with the European Union, public broadcaster RUV has reported, with just one constituency’s votes left to count.
It reported that 52.5% of the 188,496 votes so far counted had rejected the government’s proposal, while 47.5% had said yes. Some 9,500 votes separated them.
Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir’s centre-left government promised to hold a referendum by 2027, but brought it forward because of international tensions, including US President Donald Trump’s threats against Greenland.

I have recurrent cluster headaches. It's always when I get it on one side, it's gets on another side the day or with in 2 days. Symtoms before the headaches start are, feels like body temperature is raising but it isn't, warm breath, nausea, irritation to surrounding noise and sometimes blurry vision. These headaches last about 8-12 hours for me. Triggers that I know of are, being disturbed while about to sleep or while sleeping, stress, migranes (yes I have migranes too, and migranes trigger cluster headaches for me) and cold atmosphere. I can numb migrane by intense massage and punching the affected area with the palm. Thing is I have to constantly intense massage the area to numb migranes. Then starts cluster headaches, it feels like something is stuck in my eye socket and is damaging the nerves around it and that's what causing pain there and around the temples. Massage doesn't work because the pain seems to be deep inside the temples and behind the eyes. What feels like a relief is stabbing a knife in temples and the affected eye then pluck out the optic nerve and part of the brain that's causing the pain.

For an attack you couldn't stay ahead of, a highflow oxygen for no less than 45 minutes does wonders. Preventive, for me, is being able to detect the main symptom which is a very small pinch behind the right eyeball – I can beat the condition for the night if I take a Nasal Sumatriptan dose within the first two minutes.

When I was in my teen I used bang my head against the wall to take the pain away. By the time the attack ended my face was bloody all over. These days I just get some magic mushrooms have a good trip or two and the cluster goes away for a while.

I don’t know if I get cluster headaches or not, when I get migraines I get a severe pain on one side of my head and some pain in one of my eyes, if my migraine is on the left side then I will get tingling I my right arm and leg, and half of my face, I also forget how to speak and spell, but the pain is one of the worst things ever feels like someone is squeezing your brain

I started having them in the 80s and I agree that spring and autumn I had more, but often they would come out of the blue and stay with me for a month or three. One attack happened when I went from a hot and humid outside to the cool interior of a shop. Within minutes, I started feeling the "shadows" come on – a sense of numbness at my left temple.
When I first started having them, I treated them last big headaches. But I kept on having them, often at the same time of the day, usually afternoon, so I went in to my local clinic. I was diagnosed with a possible ear infection and given a course of antibiotics. After a week I finally had enough and went in again and they finally brought in a neurologist, who almost immediately diagnosed my condition as CH. The first meds helped, but I could take no more than 3 doses a week, which left large gaps without treatment. As the years went on, I got a new neuro and she prescribed the newer meds that helped but usually left me drained. One day in a CH season, she called me and said she's changing my treatment and to come in. She said that high flow oxygen would stop an attack. I got tanks of O2 and a nasal cannula from the supplier. She had prescribed a non-rebreather mask since I needed 12L/min flow, but the MD who actually sent in the script to the supplier thought this overkill and changed it to the cannula, which gave only 6L max. I had to resort to a having the O2 flow into a plastic bag and breathe from that to get a high enough O2 level. It helped greatly. I finally got it changed (took 2 weeks since my doc was on vacation) to the proper mask and flow valve. It's been 20 years since my last episode, but every year, spring and fall, she calls me to see how I am doing. She's now chief of neurology at the hospital.

It’s always weird watching someone else experience pain you’ve never felt. But holy cow that guy needed an oxygen mask and looked like he was ready to start tearing that side of his head off.
