Climate crisis: New carbon capture method revealed by scientists – BBC News
A new method of removing carbon dioxide from the air and storing it in the sea has been outlined by scientists.
The new technique captures CO2 from the atmosphere up to three times more efficiently than current methods, according to researchers.
The idea sees the planet-warming gas transformed into bicarbonate of soda and stored safely and cheaply in seawater.
Experts say widespread use of carbon capture technology will be required if the world is to avoid the worst effects of the climate crisis.

Tens of thousands of organisations have been caught out by a computer virus called WannaCry. The malicious software locks data away and demands a payment of up to $300 (£230) a time before it will restore scrambled files. In the UK, many hospitals fell victim and some health organisations diverted ambulances and cancelled non-essential services as they sought to contain and clean up the infection. Infections in more than 99 nations are being reported by security firms. It appears that the hardest hit are Russia and Spain.

Actually past 100 years no body stopped BP oil company from digging oil.
But still they not met the energy self sufficient goal (100 years) and. Cost of living goal.
It s unbelievable. What about current oil and gas barrel capacity. Is it not enough to met your domestic demand.
Why they close everything in 2014. No it s a lie.
This is just a attempt to revers the climate action plan by using cost of living thing. And they wants to sell more oil to third world. For profit. But cost of living going to same since Margaret eara. (1980 s).
Every polition must have to approve more oil licences every year its a tradition. For friends. (its not related to cost of living or low oil price)
They just wants to sell more oil to other countries and they already invested to prevent all green projects that going on whole world.

Nor a new capture method, neither will it help with the climate crisis. We need to reduce emissions, that should be the only headline and tag-line be of any video around carbon capture.

Carbon dioxide dissolve in water to form carbonic acid which is acidic and most likely create an acidic pH to aquatic life and at the end this condition is a danger to aquatic species
