Minister resigns from Government saying ‘schoolboy errors’ made over fraudulent Covid business loans

Published

on

Treasury minister Lord Agnew of Oulton has resigned from the Government over how it has handled fraudulent Covid business loans.

After telling the Lords he was unhappy with working between BEIS and the Treasury, Lord Agnew told peers: “Given that I am the minister for counter fraud, it would be somewhat dishonest to stay on in that role if I am incapable of doing it properly.”

Please forgive me but I could not concentrate on a word this man was saying because I was looking at the old man behind him. Was the old man behind the speaker nodding off constantly? If so it would not be the first time. How much is this old fart being paid by the British tax payer to SLEEP??

I think this pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security rather having different investments is the real deal.

Its a national disgrace that this isn’t investigated, all these politicians should be investigated as well as those who have had an interest or investments in the pharmaceutical industry and the PPE band wagon. I’m so sick of or government and world leaders. Seems to me this plan-Demic was a ‘red flag’ and all setup to destroy the working class and small businesses so the elite and fat cats can get richer, what an amazing plan and job they’ve done on us all…so happy to see decent politicians walking out with pride, although I suspect he’s been pushed!
