Marvel drops Jonathan Majors after domestic assault conviction | BBC News
Emmy-nominated actor Jonathan Majors has been dropped by Marvel Studios after he was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend.
On Monday, a jury in New York found that Majors, 34, attacked and harassed British choreographer Grace Jabbari during an argument in March.
Following the verdict, a Marvel spokesperson said the studio would no longer work with the actor.
Majors could face up to a year in prison when sentenced in February.

Hawk Fire wildfire in Nevada expected to rage for another two days, say officials | BBC News
US fire crews have reported progress in their efforts to tackle a large wildfire menacing the city of Reno, Nevada – saying the blaze is about a quarter contained.
The Hawk Fire, which began on Saturday, had spread over 15,000 acres by Monday, firefighters said.
Evacuation orders remain in place for 23,000 people, though other residents have now been allowed to return to their homes. Tens of thousands of other residents have been told to be ready to leave at any moment.
Officials are concerned that gusts of wind could drive the flames towards more homes. Unfavourable weather conditions are forecast for the next two days, meaning the fire could continue to burn during that timeframe.

China has vowed to protect its interests after the US announced plans to widen economic sanctions against Iran and its trading partners, which include Beijing.

It’s not enough that you have a great career. You must also be lucky to find a mate who has mental stability and doesn’t try to ruin your life because you asked him/her to control the addictions & become disciplined.
Our society and media doesn’t prepare youngsters in trying to position themselves to find the best mate possible. Only the most matured youngsters identify the right mate and start a successful family.

This is very poor overview. He was found not guilty of intentional assault and found guilty of unintentional. There was so much more to the case which others have commented on linking to the evidence including the fact the accuser apologised to Majors after being at the police station for what happened and what they told her to say . These videos are very misleading….. disappointing. Hope this means all can move forward now and Majors is still able to come back properly in 10+ years time
