Israel-Gaza war: US expresses support for UN aid resolution – BBC News

Published

on

The US has expressed support for the UN’s latest draft resolution on humanitarian aid for Gaza – a vote for which is expected later today.

The original draft called for a sustainable cessation of hostilities, but the final version calls for creating the conditions for one.

It comes as the World Food Programme says Gaza is at risk of famine within six months if the conflict doesn’t end.

Earlier this week, the Hamas-run Gaza government said 20,000 people had been killed in the enclave since the war erupted.

You don't have to be a Muslim to protest the ongoing atrocities in Palestine. Being "human" you can't support it in any way. The American government and its allies who are nakedly supporting Israel day after day, the helpless Palestinian children killed in barbaric Israeli attacks and the blood of thousands of innocent people whose conscience is not touched, I can't call them "people" anyway. It is surprising to think and unfortunately to listen to those anthropomorphic "inhumans", the bullies of humanity and democracy!

Ever wondered if Evil Exists ? Ever wondered what You would have done when the Evil German Empire unleashed the Horrors of the Holocaust in World War 2…?. Would you have followed the crowd, bent the knee, relinquished your right to be Free as the deadly darkness spread & the Crimes escalated & escalated & Escalated..? Would you have Enabled the Evil ? Or would You have Resisted the Dark Side & said Not in My Name !

No need to Wonder. The Genocidal Mass Slaughter unfolding in the Gaza Ghetto – before the Eyes of the World – is the State of Israel's ' Final Solution ' to the Palestinian Question. 20,000 murdered so far & counting. Many of them Children. Can You hear the Death Bell Tolling…Innocent Blood is dripping from Murderous Hands. How Far will they go.? How far will We Let them go is The Answer..! America & Britain are Backing this Barbarity with our Bucks, Our Resources and in Our Name ! They have the Power to End the Genocide Now by Ending the Political Support & 15 billion in Funding…But our governments Do Not represent us or do Our Will because they have Corruption written through them like a Stick of Rock. So, Will You stand up, Defeat the Dark Side & say Not in My Name.?

To be clear – US abstained i.e. did not support or against the recent UNSC resolution on humanitarian aids for Gaza.

This recent passed UNSC resolution sponsored by UAE is actually a watered down resolution by US as seen by US postponing the voting session a number of times to allow US to negotiate & discourse with Arabs nations according to US terms & subject to US agreement, if not the resolution will be vetoed by US as seen in the previous UNSC resolutions on Gaza.

Thus, it is obvious that US is exerting itself as an "egoist world's biggest bully" & also an evil accomplice of Israel Terror (falsely cover-up as the right of self defence) on the genocide of thousands of thousand of innocent & helpless people that is happening every day since Oct 8, 2023 in Gaza right before the eyes of the whole world.

In 2023 an estimated 6.3 million children under five died, 2.9 million of them in the WHO African Region. This is equivalent to five children under 5 years of age dying every minute. Two thirds of these deaths can be attributed to preventable causes. A third of all these deaths are in the neonatal period. 1:25

(Daniel 9:27 was fulfilled on August 13 2023 also when the woman began travailing in birth to fulfill the time of the gentiles for the mystery of Revelation 12 to be completed, Daniel 12:1 next, three riders released within 2020 and 2023. These words are true and worthy, he who has ears to hear let him hear, blessed is he who understands.)

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”

Gospel of Matthew, chapter 24, verse 3.

“And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

Gospel of Luke, chapter 21, verse 8 to 11.

“All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”

Gospel of Matthew, chapter 24, verse 8 to 10.

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Gospel of Luke, chapter 21, verse 25 to 28.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16 to 18.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 3 to 6.

“Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.”

    Acts, chapter 8, verse 22.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 3.

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Gospel of Matthew, chapter 4, verse 17.

“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”

    Hosea, chapter 6, verse 2.

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 8.

“knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 3 to 4.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

First Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 3.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 16 to 17.

“in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 52.

“I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

Gospel of Luke, chapter 17, verse 34 to 36.

For three straight days starting on July 15, 2014, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made thousands of phone calls to the residents of Shejaiya in northern Gaza. The locals were encouraged to evacuate their homes before IDF tanks rolled across the border. Tens of thousands of leaflets were dropped into the village. These leaflets suggested both a safe evacuation route and safe destinations to head for within Gaza City. The IDF sent similar messages daily via local television and radio. But that’s not all. The IDF also made dozens of phone calls to Shejaiya’s influential citizens, asking them to get out the word of the impending IDF incursion.

Thousands and thousands of warnings were given. The Israeli military authorities essentially told the enemy where the IDF troops would enter the village and when. And for three days, Hamas fighters, no dummies, took full advantage. They dug their own forces in deeper. They activated booby-traps. They hid IEDs. They got snipers into perfect positions. They brought in additional fighters. They pre-positioned weapons. They readied their terror tunnels.

At this point, it was abundantly clear that IDF commanders had gone beyond any mandates that international law requires to avoid civilian casualties. No matter. Putting their own troops at even greater risk, IDF commanders decided to wait yet another day to allow more time for civilians to get out.

Then all hell broke loose. Shejaiya was the location of nasty urban fighting between Hamas and the IDF during the 2014 summer conflict. Sixty-seven Israeli soldiers would die in that war, and many of the injured are still in hospitals.

One who survived is Ben, a deft-thinking IDF attorney who grew up outside Sydney, Australia, swimming off Bondi Beach. Ben (IDF policy does not allow the use of some last names) is standing today on a hillside near the Israeli village of Mefalsim, looking some 500 yards across a verdant field into the Gaza strip. He’s viewing a peaceful scene – the very same Gazan town of Shejaiya. Ben ponders the $64,000 question; namely, Does he think the IDF does too much to prevent civilian casualties? He stares into Gaza for a long time. A very long time. “Who knows? I can tell you that I am proud that we do what we do.”

UN is an archaic, toothless and casteist body with no real contributions to show for.. its not been updated in ages to reflect the power dynamics of the world. Either of the 5 member can veto a resolution leaving it dead. The resolutions are non binding and don’t really mean anything. If you have might you can pretty much bypass it e.g US in iraq and Russia in Ukraine.
It’s just a bunch of diplomats doing lip service while being on high paying foreign postings. UN should be dissolved.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.

It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.

The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.

Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.
