France to ban Muslim students wearing abayas in state schools – BBC News
Pupils will be banned from wearing abayas – loose-fitting full-length robes worn by some Muslim women – in France’s state-run schools, the education minister has said.
The rule will be applied as soon as the new school year starts on 4 September.
France has a strict ban on religious signs in state schools and government buildings, arguing that they violate secular laws.
Wearing a headscarf has been banned since 2004 in state-run schools.

Donald Trump scraps threat of 20% fee on Strait of Hormuz cargo | BBC News
President Donald Trump has reversed his threat of a 20% fee on all Strait of Hormuz cargo shipping, as the US battles to break Iran’s hold on the waterway.
He said the toll would be replaced by trade and investment deals with Gulf states, just hours before the US resumes a blockade of Iranian ports.
It follows renewed strikes between the US and Iran, which triggered a sharp rise in oil prices as tanker traffic through the Strait has virtually stalled.

This shows one of France's greatest strengths, keeping religion away from education and government. You can still have faith and believe what you wish, but you are not going to make a public show of it. If you want to be French, you do so by integrating into French culture, not by expecting the French culture to change to accept your language and culture, dress, etc. In the UK, the Disney-like dream of multi-culture has caused greater division than ever. Integration does not mean forgetting your heritage, but it means that your first loyalty is to the country that you were born in or have taken as your home by becoming a citizen.

Muslims are the biggest hypocrites on earth. They just can't wait to go live with the very same people that they denounce. They burn American flags at rallies while wearing Nike shoes and New York Yankee hatsš. Muslims are the most uneducated people in history.

"Men in suits" ought to be the sole entities subjected to a ban, for they are the ones responsible for committing genocides, war crimes & exploiting the working class. "Men in suits" are the culprits behind the economic crisis of 2008. They are the same individuals who, in the name of freedom, caused the deaths of one million innocent Iraqis and now in Palestine & Israel. It is disheartening that all these transgressions are overlooked, while we lend our ears to the privileged "men in suits" instructing us to harbour animosity toward other groups. We failed again as a Humanity, shame on the West!

I think France is trying to gently/subtly drive out their muslim population. Because no government can decide whats oppressive to a religious person. They follow the religion willingly so they accept the rules of the religion willingly.

Funny how in western countries we're all expected to be constantly tolerant and open and understanding of everything, yet if we visit their countries, we dont enjoy the same benefits. With muslim people its a very one sided relationship. They only take and give nothing back.

I donāt understand why france ban muslim woman from covering their body. They have problem people covering their body but okay when woman showing their body are they perverted? Do they want to see peopleās body that much? Why canāt everyone just respect others people religions and cultures?
