It's not because she's a woman, it's because she's the most backstabbing and doesn't really seem to have any sort of principles. We can sympathize with even the most violent if they exhibit consistent principles and boundaries about how they behave like outlaws. Logan, although terrible, at least is straightforward and courageous.

Shiv isn't held to a higher standard because she is a woman, it is because she betrays every person who places trust in her, every single time, and she is the most selfish and most dishonest character. This is the problem with the woke world view, they make the ideal woke woman so awful that no one likes her – she is selfish, disloyal, self righteous, and power hungry – then act like it is sexist that no one likes her rather than a response to how terrible of a person she is.

Sarah gave some of the best acting I've ever seen/heard. Her scene with Logan in

People expect women to be nicer and more loyal. And when Shiv acts like the her brothers she's judged more harshly. Not just by the characters in the show but even by the people who analyse her character. They don't even see that they have prejudices against women.
Roman is a monster even with kids. He almost kill people and a guy lost his hand because of him. Nobody talk about it. Because he's the funniest one, people love him no matter what. Logan his the worst, he's sexist, racist, think people as toys and is responsible for the rape and killing of many women. Bt people love him no matter what because he's an alpha. Kendall is responsible for the death of a young men. He constantly mistreats the staff and betrayed everyone and is a big sexist like his father. But people love him cause he's the one who has the best chances to become Logan and to succeed him.
Shiv Roy choose a manipulative and opportunistic husband who could sell his parents if the price feels right. He is the only character she abused. She's a monster like the other but she doesn't target innocent people, lashes out to them or accidently kills people like her brothers or her father. Plus, she never betrayed first. Every single people she betrayed have betrayed her first. Like her dad, her husband and her brothers. The worst default of Shiv is that she's not likable.

The acting on this show is next level. Very similar to The Big Short where there’s a lot of serious moments but most of the show is like a dark comedy. She is INCREDIBLE as Shiv and Strong and Cox are next level. Kieran is so damn brilliant as well. All SO good!

People don't judge Shiv more because she's a woman, people judge her because she is a manipulative bitch. She is just as much a narcissist and selfish person as the others. I personally find her politics very questionable: she's only liberal when it fits her needs, but when she needs to side with the conservatives in order to get what she wants, she has no problem backing someone like Mencken.
Btw, ask anyone who is their favourite (or better said: least hated) character from the show, and they will all name someone else. That shows how good this series is.

Great actor but she’s wrong on the sexist part. Rome’s bullied by his dad often, thus we feel sorry for him and Kendall’s a loving dad. shiv’s not even loving to hubby tom, so i’s the writing that makes us harder on Shiv. If she was loyal to Tom I’d have rooted for her more.
