I’m a gas engineer and to make a blanket statement of “turning you boiler down to 60 will save money” is false. It is all very much dependant on multiple factors. Is your house well insulated? Do you have radiators or underfloor heating? Is your boiler a condensing boiler or a conventional one? If you have a well insulated house with a condensing boiler, you might be ok with turning down the flow temperature. If you have an older house with a conventional boiler, it will need to run longer to produce the heat needed (and you would be constantly cold) thus using more energy.

Tips to save energy and cost lol We are financing our own demise, by being lapdogs to the US = NATO cabal Warmongering, which the UK are part of. Plus There is no energy crisis fgs, it's all engineered, and just pure daylight robbery. We have our own North Sea gas and oil, and hundred of years worth of coal under our feet. When will people realise they are being gaslighted again!! Covid, The global warming nonsense, the green energy insanity, and now a war that should never have happened, All part of the WEF globalist great reset agenda, with all countries in lockstep.

I have a Baxi combi boiler, and here is the guidance for setting the heating flow temperature in winter:
What temperature should my boiler be set at in winter?

We all want to stay cosy in the winter. Some cosier than others. There’s no magic number for the ideal temperature. If you’re looking for a good balance of warmth and efficiency, you want to set your boiler to at least 65°C. Setting it a few degrees higher won’t hurt. But it’s important not to set it any lower than that. This is so bacteria in the water doesn’t grow, and cause nasty things like Legionella.

For those who like things hot, it is tempting to set your boiler temp higher in the winter. However, there is a chance this will start to stress out your boiler. An overworked boiler will likely have a reduced lifespan, decreased efficiency, and be more prone to breakdowns and repairs.

As you can see, Baxi says to set the flow temperature to 65 degrees as a minimum.
I suggest people check what the manufacturer of their particular boiler suggests for the settings to use.
