If Nazanin goes back to Iran to visit mommy and daddy I hope she doesn’t think we’ve got another £400 million.

Let's say you make knives and you take an order for a knife it is paid for in full before you make it but while the customer is waiting he is arrested and charged with murder by stabbing do you then make him a new knife or give back the money so he could buy a knife elsewhere, you owe him the money but should you give a convicted criminal the means to have a weapon.
Iran is untrustworthy it is a terrorist country with a desire to have mass weapons of destruction, do we help them make them by giving them money even if they are owed it. I say no.

She's being treated like all BBC traitors should. Glad to see them get a dose of reality when they try to undermine the nation of Iran

There is a lot of espionage interest in Iran, you go there at your own risk. It's a tough one for the Govt who rightfully do not want to be strong-armed into these ransom tactics, it doesnt send the right message.

Since 1979 that £400 million has been reduced to £200 million by inflation, wait a few more years and we shall be able to pay them from petty cash.

Iran will get their money back from EU and US countries, but Iran needs to agree nuclear deal with the West first!
This is why the UK can't give £400 million because an Iranian is held for ransom!! People need to understand Iran want the money to build more missiles and drones which are used to target allies bases in Iraq, Syria and Saudi and UAE cities!!

Her husband should think about millions of people and not selfishly to get his wife!

And next time the Home Office should warn Iranians with British passports not to visit their homeland or don't ask for help!
Many Iranians meet their relatives in Turkey to avoid the drama!!

Strange how people that make bad decisions , like ISIS brides are worthy of so much public expenditure to satisfy woke virtue signalling. Nobody wants families divided but nobody wants cancer patients to go without treatment either.

If this woman decided to visit her own country of Iran and who isn’t a ‘British Citizen’ let’s face it that’s her own fault ffs😡

Well, wow ! I’m shocked at the comments but in the same sentiment I am truly not surprised! Given what has happed to our world of late& the unearthing of the filth , the corruption, the systemic racism within this country these comments only highlight how accurate it is !!! I am British and Yes- from English/ Scottish decent. Surely, we are supposed to be a civilized country ? Meaning pay back what you owe , the deal collapsed the tanks weren’t handed over yes yes they broke alliance but that doesn’t mean the Brits have the right to behave like highway robbers ! This woman needs to be released , her daughter is British , her father is English/ British it is our duty to behave like civilized human beings , the comments I read appear to be intentionally drifting from the point ! Scary actually to think what ignorance & hate exists out there !

What baffles me is why did this woman go to her own country to introduce her child to her grandmother, she knows what is going on, she should have flown her mother here, I feel for her but her own stupidity is the reason she is in prison.

UK toffs living in a fantasy of Rule Brittannia. Wake up to the corporate banker takeover of both parties and give up the partisan BS. Not fellating Zionists would be a good start.

Fled as a refugee then went back for a holiday, makes a mockery of our asylum system. Where are the receipts that this "deal" is the reason they won't release her? What evidence do you have that's she's innocent? Because = Iran bad.

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
