    Debt is bad because every time it's issued, more money is effectively "created" and therefore it devalues the purchasing power of everyone else's money (in that currency). It's that simple. If money had intrinsic value (eg if it were made of gold), there would be far less debt because the supply would be limited. Then some debt could work… The reason our money isn't made of gold is because it's easier for the tyrants to control it (and us) that way
