have all you idiots forgotten how much the government spent supporting you lot during the pandemic? do you have the memories of goldfishes and think that debt doesn't have to be paid back??

Er, the energy unit (kWh) price is going down by a miniscule amount but the standing change is going up meaning we are paying MORE than before. Funny how politicians fail to mention that.

I know it’s a different subject but felt this should be aired. My husband needs many medications to keep him alive but one medication that he has been taking for many years and which really benefits him has been swapped for a generic type which doesn’t suit him at all. He rang our GP who indicated that the medication he had been using for many years has a larger carbon footprint than the new one. He is now having to go back and forth to try to get the old medication reinstated . It has been implied that the government issue the list of medication that GP’s are allowed to prescribe, not necessarily the best ones but possibly the cheaper? I wonder how many people are left suffering because of the governments obsession with climate change. It’s not enough that the motorists are being used as cash cows in the name of climate change but now they want to penalise the sick. 😣

They are coming down really i dont think so energy companies have overcharged alot made loads and will make more. All companies are constantly scamming customers and this useless government allows it shame on them. The broadband companies are happy as each april they get a boost, car insurance get a boost in October as rates go up also excuse of premium go up, the ncd percentage is decreased each year instead of going up to reward good drivers instead penalise good drivers as ncd only goes up to 9yrs no more why, why someone who has claimed or done any car accident is being treated like crap!! Whether you buy a new car or old car insurance will constantly push prices up and up. All companies in the uk have all powers to always increase charges and maje the consumer a slave. All insurance companies put so much clauses that they dont seem to make any loss the government has given them a free pass to exploit the customers so they cant do anything some people also dont bother complain or challenging these greedy companies look at the standing charges on the energy companies its all a big con getting bigger by the selfish tyrants.

No, it isn't. Instead of bringing biased pro-government economists on, bring on independent economists, who are saying the exact the opposite. Will the BoE raise interests rates again? Answer that question. The answer is, it's very likely. Will taxes go up? Yes. One way to reduce inflation is to limit the amount of money flowing in the economy. This is means less money in your pocket to buy goods and pay bills.
Stop talking to us as if we're stupid 5 year olds. Ask your economist why China is reverting to a domestic economy. China is taking a massive hit in its property market, but China would rather have this now, than have much larger economic problems later. What are we doing?

People and businesses are spending less money due to the tax burden. If you want the economy to recover then tax us less.

We're still loosing £100 billion in GDP due to Brexit, and £40 billion loss to the treasury because we can't implement border checks or else we'd have severe food shortages. Your economic plans might be on track, but they'd be a hell of a lot better if you hadn't left the single market.

Government has really called thing's more difficult for it's citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of bad governance. It's obvious we heading for hyperinflation, it is always the poor who take the hit, but thank God I'm making $20,400 every two weeks from my investment of $3000 dollars.
