Here's a way to save money – stop consuming the mainstream media. They have been lying to you for the past two years – so why give them your money?

What does "in debt" mean? You have a mortgage? You have a car loan? You use a credit card? You are overdrawn?

If "any of the above" then I reckon the figure will be nearer 75%.

    25% in debt.
But the richest 1% on average have £4 million each.
Time for a wealth tax on the neo-liberal few beneficiaries.

Since being absolutely skint in the 80s with huge interest rates I now save all year for Christmas and totally stay within that budget there is no way I'm starting the New Year in debt for the sake of one day. Attending a Carol service is free as is a nativity service, you can make Christmas as cheap as you like.

New phones, holidays, toys, clothes and gifts are not necessities they are luxury goods. If you do not have 3-6 months (at least) of your salary saved up then you have no rights to buy anything luxurious or take a holiday. I have been debt free since 2005. I have 12 months of salary saved up. I have not had a holiday in 8 years. I have not left my city to travel in 7 years. It takes sacrifice it does not just happen.

Britain the socialist society. That is why the immigrants keep coming. Everything is for free. Social benefits to some are their life. If you are from an African or Middle Eastern country you get zero benefits. Babying people in your country does not help them it encourages people to claim as much as they can.
