The mental contortions this joke of a channel has to undertake to keep their little tory flag flying is as hillarious as it is mind boggling.

Constant growth for all people is very easily possible, but not very much liked by the upper class.
Prof Richard Werner explaines it and shows where it was allowed to work in history,
like in the after war miraculous boom in Germany, others in Japan and later China.
Very recent history, the elites know exactly how it would work, but block it with all their power.
Credit guidance, small community banks and endig of the almighty, only self-controlled central banks
    is all whats needed.
Trickle down in the actual environment works very well for the elites but can not for us.

    To counter the centralbank-system,
too big to expect from GBnews I suspect.

They don't have any coherent theory of how- or why 'Trickle down'actually works.Whereas
we can be sure ending illegal Immigration would save the Country a huge amount of Money And can be achieved by solemn &uncompromising declaration that no one entering this Country illegally will EVER be granted Citizenship .EVER!!!ie Crime is NEVER rewarded.

This is pure capitalism, trickle down economics, never works, the tax cuts won't help people who are poor. and do u think banks spend this extra money? they save it and invest in estate and FTSE 100 companies. They will loose the next election.

Anything that was done at this point would of been a gamble, Labour would of moaned no matter what was done, experts, well, lets just say we have had enough of the experts…. We are in this mess because of experts, we was all locked down and the economy destroyed because of 'experts'… unelected experts at that!!!

    Tory councillor doesn't know sh*t.

The £400 payment hasn't "gone out" yet, it will be applied at a rate of £66 per month for 6 months.
It is NOT a lump sum doled out to people it is being split over 6 months starting October 1st.

HOW CAN SHE BE SO IGNORANT OF THE FACTS?

This problem wasnt meant to be solved. The central banks designed the system to fail. We've proven here in the USA that trickle down economics dont work over & over but this is a plan that is being executed. In order to move the overton window, put a chilling effect on population growth & force everyone into the 4th ind revolution & the digital surveillance state.

A windfall tax would leave oil companies with less money to make the necessary investment for increased North Sea oil/gas production, that the country must have to survive.(And most are international companies that make their profits outside the UK.) Why don't TV personalities understand these basic facts?

Better to reduce the unexpected extra profits on the unreliable energy producers (Wind & Solar) that are occurring, as their retail price of Electricity is linked to the price of Gas.

Can someone ask her when legacy disabled citizens get their trickle as they have cut our money in real terms by 42% since coming into power, they gave us nothing during COVI|D and offered us £150 towards a £2500 utility bill – these people are in cuckoo land, Mr Rich hardly pays taxes, any money he is given ends in the cayman islands, she certainly doesn't look like she has to balance heat or eat.

A Tory Councillor has a better understanding than some of the world's financial genius, how can she know it works, Trickle Down Economics is a theory and any attempt in the past to attempt this ended in failure, what a muppet, the country is full of simpletons.

Trickle-down economics is just a political play on words. We have had uncontrolled inflation and the only consequence of that is deflation. Germany, France, Italy and Greece found that out.

    "Trickle down economics"
    It dosen't work… never did… never has… never will.

The rich get richer and keep the $$$

We dont need or want a budget "for everyone". We need a budget that provides assistance to those that need assistance.

Someone on £1,000,000 a year doesn't need a £55,000 payrise or payment towards their energy bills.

Zia Yusuf delivers a scathing critique of both the Conservative and Labour parties, accusing them of failing the British public on immigration and foreign aid. In this explosive segment, the Reform UK Home Affairs spokesperson claims the country has experienced “the biggest wave of untrammelled mass immigration ever seen,” placing the blame squarely on successive governments.

Yusuf outlines why Reform UK is launching a new inquiry into what he calls the “Boriswave,” arguing that border policies under recent leadership have left the UK exposed. He raises concerns about public safety, national priorities, and whether the current system is truly serving the interests of the British people.

In this week’s Chopper’s Political Podcast, Christopher Hope is joined by Tom Harwood and Katherine Forster to examine the growing debate around the UK state pension and the “triple lock.”

With Reform UK now joining other major parties in backing the policy, the discussion explores why the triple lock remains politically untouchable, despite rising concerns over its long-term cost. The panel breaks down how the system works, why it was introduced, and how it has helped reduce pensioner poverty, while also raising questions about fairness between generations.

They also look at the mounting financial pressures facing the UK, including the rising cost of pensions, slow economic growth, and an ageing population. Could the triple lock become unsustainable in the future? And if so, what alternatives might be considered?
