It was zelensky who campaigned on peace with Russia and then did a U turn and shelled the Donbas killing 14,000 before Russia invaded. We must never lose sight of that. UK's foreign policy is the US neocon's policy. As appropriate for a loyal vassal.

"The new sanctions hold accountable those who support Putin's regime, including those who would like to see Ukraine destroyed, its national identity dissolved and its future erased," said British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.
Very clever this man does not seem to be. Nothing except the already boring Russophobia.

Eesh. This came across as propaganda rather than an interview, coming across as asking the questions he wanted. e.g. when he says "yes, but we have to think about 50 years in the future", the answer should be "that document is about how we are sinking in to a pit because our relations with other countries sucks. How can we restore the world's faith in the UK?" rather than "that's amazing"

I remember when I subbed to this channel when you had very few subscribers & i'm proud to see how far you have come. I hope you continue to deliver impartial, factual & concise news.

I would like this channel to eventually become a big institution considering that most of our TV news channels are becoming more Americanised by yelling at the camera & trying to sway their opinion for clicks.

Please next time do try to challenge government members more though.

It's a shame he barely answers any question, risk of escalation? Just pure defection. What can Sweden bring to NATO? Just ignores the question. Just a pointless interview.

    December 21, 2023 at 4:53 am

I feel like this type of video is better hosted on a separate channel. I thought the whole point of TLDR News is short, snappy news without all the fluff—this interview is the opposite of that.

  28. @Cheebasonic

    December 21, 2023 at 4:53 am

In interviews you are very cooperative and positive to your subjects without too many tough questions, but in your commentary you are much sharper able to criticise in a no-nonsense manner. This is pragmatism mostly?

The lack of diversity at TLDR is quite glaring and manifests in the topics that’s covered and opinions shared. Unable to find women and people of color to join the team?

Congrats to the team! Looking forward to seeing hows TLDR finds its voice to press difficult questions!

Access is great, but its nothing if we dont challenge those in power, be they left or right!

  37. @kylieross5498

    December 21, 2023 at 4:53 am

I imagine you’ll interview the shadow foreign secretary next? In the interest of impartiality and fairness? Or is TLDR just another mouthpiece for the Tories now?

  38. @temptemp4174
