Red Cross says two more hostages released from Gaza – BBC News
The International Committee of the Red Cross has said that two hostages taken captive from Israel by Hamas have been released.
An Israeli government official has told CBS, the BBC’s US media partner, that the names of the freed captives are Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz.
It brings the total number of hostages released by Hamas to four.
Two American-Israelis, mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Raanan, were released from by Hamas on Friday.

Buckingham Palace was handed emails six years ago that would have shown that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was sharing confidential government information while a trade envoy, according to court documents.
It has emerged that an archive of 30,000 emails, containing information about the former prince’s controversial financial dealings, was given to the Lord Chamberlain, the most senior officer in the Royal Household, in 2020.
The emails had been taken from a personal business contact of the former Prince Andrew.
When asked about what happened to the emails, Buckingham Palace said: “Since there is an ongoing police enquiry concerning Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, it is not possible to provide any comment on these matters.”
Mountbatten-Windsor has rejected any wrongdoing in his associations with Jeffrey Epstein and denied any personal gain from his role as trade envoy.

Hundreds arrested and dozens of police injured after Champions League riots in France | BBC News
A total of 219 people have been injured in clashes between football fans and police across France after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won the Champions League final against Arsenal.
Eight were in a serious condition, Interior Minister Laurent NuĂąez said. Thousands of officers were deployed to curb unrest that disrupted bus, train and rail services in the capital, Paris. Fifty-seven of them were injured.
NuĂąez said 780 people had been arrested over the violence – with more than 450 in custody. A person was found dead after an accident on Paris’s ring road, which rioters tried to block overnight.

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is currently at the centre of the largest maternity inquiry in the history of the NHS – looking at care provided to about 2,500 families between 2012 and 2025.
The inquiry has been investigating stillbirths, neonatal deaths, maternal deaths, and injured babies and mothers at NUH, which runs City Hospital and Queen’s Medical Centre.
Panorama has seen previously unreported documents and has also spoken to 10 midwives who worked there, about their experiences over the past decade providing a unique insight into what working conditions were like.

Israel’s prime minister has ordered attacks on the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, as its conflict with the Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah escalates.
Benjamin Netanyahu said “terror targets” in the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahieh would be struck in response to its rocket and drone attacks on Israeli civilians.
Israelâs pledge to step up its strikes in Lebanon came hours after the US president Donald Trump had declared that âall shooting will stopâ between Israel and Hezbollah. Trump made the announcement after Iran said it had pulled other of peace talks with the US, in protest at Israelâs offensive in Lebanon
The conflict poses a major obstacle to the US presidentâs efforts to reach a deal to end its war with Iran. Tehran is insisting that any ceasefire must include Lebanon.
The Israeli military ordered residents of Dahieh to evacuate for their own safety, without giving further details.
Families, crammed into cars stuffed with suitcases, blankets and whatever belongings they could carry, streamed out of Beirutâs suburbs, joining thousands fleeing towards the mountains as fears of further violence mounted.

Because israel don't care about the hostages in fact israel refused the 2 hostages so they had to be given to Egypt instead loooool also why is no one talking about how many hostages israel took since 7th October. Nearly 3000 from the west bank!! No hamas there or terrorist. Half of 3000 are children all in jail.

The US and Israel try to drag Iranians as much as possible in the Arab-Israeli conflict, saying that there is a direct link to Hamas just to justify their actions against Iran and to gain popular support from all over the world.
