Johnson’s is currently in the process of rolling out a new policy to crack down on drugs across the UK, specifically targetting middle-class drug use. However, it seems there’s a problem in his own backyard, with cocaine traces found in 11 of 12 locations tested within the Commons. So in this video we unpick MPs difficult relationship with drugs and what this tells us about Britain’s approach to drug usage.

It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

It's simple – if you want to get high/drunk/stoned, you do not do it at work…
The algo has only just shown me this – and I'm disgusted at the hypocrisy here. I'm personal pro the "legalize and tax/Offer support and connection" approach to mind-altering substances… people get addicted mostly because they are isolated and want to "escape" their situation.
And so whilst I don't care if MPs do drugs in their own time, I care deeply that they are intoxicated at work, and also that the gov. want to crack down and criminalise, yet we all know nothing at all will happen to MPs

Well this is bewildering and shocking. Cocaine is a drug which has a long trail of death from where it is grown and harvested, to transportation and smuggling, to dealing and use. It leads to a diminishing in senses of responsibility and morality. No wonder there is such widespread abuse and devastation to so many lives in the UK.

We had the very same scandal in Argentina in the 90s and it was called "Nariguetazos en el congreso". Many parliamentarians would snort cocaine before the sessions.
It really looks like they are the worst of this society everywhere. The worst because they lecture us on how to live our lives while they do things like this.

We need to destigmatize "drugs". Bc I don't wanna be the old lady who doesn't do drugs. If I had the chance to buy some mushrooms to save in a dark dry place for a few years in case some opportunity to trip out happens to present itself, I WOULD. And I would totally buy coke if it came my way! I would but it and just.. hang onto it. You never know!
That's what I want to say about "drugs" before I get going watching this video.

Well well well UK looks like the tables have turned grow up and get a sensible drug policy. You were our mother parliament and now we have to Mother you. We in Canada have started to move in the right direction legalizing pot. It's a step towards legalizing all drugs which would be the ideal policy. Society didn't collapse either. I hope you start moving in the right direction
