CORRECTION: This script was written & animated before the changes in the Labour party, so we incorrectly said Anneliese Dodds was the Shadow Chancellor. She no longer is, being replaced by Rachel Reeves on May 9th

What the hell is a "Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer"
That sounds like something from a fantasy book.

I'd love to be Conservative and Co-operative, but that's not allowed.

If the UK adopts PR (and it should), will the co-op party and labour split?

  6. @AFiveDayStorm

    December 20, 2023 at 4:24 am

Somewhat like the Working Families Party and Democratic Party in the United States.

So co-op is similar to syndicalism?

  8. @elgee6202

    December 20, 2023 at 4:24 am

    1. If a Labour and Co-operative MP has the Labour whip removed, is he then just a Co-operative MP or does the Co-op Party reciprocate the removal of the whip?

    2. Why doesn't the Co-operative Party merge with Labour given that they don't do anything against Labour, despite being a separate party?

We all know the real reason many people don't know about some things is that the media systematically refuses to mention those particular things. If the media would regularly state: "oh, this Labour MP has this opinion because they're a member of the Co-op party", then people would know about the Co-op party. But that doesn't happen, so nobody knows.

    This is not accidental.

  16. @garyjohnson4778
