Went to the bank other day and got told online banking was safer. The only threat you have with cash is being robbed and is highly unlikely. Online banking opens you up to many threats

Just a few years ago, we had 7 banks and building societies in Holmfirth, now we have none. We could really do with a banking hub. Ho, but we do have plenty of charity shops.

Great to see this, people need to wake up, use this bank and grow it around the uk. Look at China if you don't believe cash is important

If cash goes the government of the day will have more control of us. Look what happened in Canada the truckers that were protesting found out their bank accounts were frozen. If there is no cash you would really be in trouble if they froze your account.

We should give the Bud Light treatment to every customer-hating bank and building society that closes our local branches and instead redirect our deposits to local competitors like Post Office accounts and other local banks and building societies that maintain branches on the high street, since only those outlets value walk-in customers. We should also boycott shops and chains that refuse cash to redirect our custom to cash-accepting competitors.
Cash is money we possess and cannot be remotely deplatformed from at the push of a government button, while money held by banks and apps is money we've loaned out to companies that are increasingly deciding to block our ability to make payments with our own money and who are shutting up shop on most high streets so we can't physically 'reach' them, as if they're trying to do a runner like a dodgy mate in debt who leaves town to live abroad after you lend them a grand.

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
