Britain what was once, a place of unity and a beacon of society, it now only cement's the view that our very identity is being destroyed by multiculturalism and political narcissism. Britain is now a place of divide and greed. VOTE REFORM and once again we may see an age of COHESION and a Nation to be proud of.

    Reply to massiha9472:

It appears that you should be looking inward if you’re trying to find bad faith. No one was .. “for complaining”. The dispute was strictly between the refugees and the UN. The latter made all of the food decisions and fully carried them out, including physically handing out the food DIRECTLY to the recipients. Cutting the food rations was strictly its own decision. The government had nothing to do with it. Anyone who’s not arguing in bad faith should know that much.

In response to the UN’s decision, some of its charges decided to invade its offices to eliminate the international staff within. To this end they were carrying homemade weapons, which they used to attack and injure the police officers who were trying to protect the international staffers holed up in their offices. Would you have preferred to let the UN officials get cut down instead?

The events happened in the open and were the subject of regular, contemporaneous news reports. People who haven’t just casually woken up to the country would have been aware of what happened as it was happening, with full context. At the time, while deploring all casualties, the UN even officially expressed its gratitude to Rwandan police officers for saving its employees’ lives.

massiha9472 had written: “I think you misunderstand the situation or are arguing in bad faith, this isn’t my opinion. […] “Ignore the fact that as recently as 5 years ago they were shooting at asylum seekers for complaining about food rations.” “

There should not be arguments over a stupid plan that will cost the tax payer a lot of money…instead just stop the boats!! Stop using our RLNI as a taxi service and stop giving the French money! Charge the French for each boat that leaves there shore, and ban ALL fishing rights until they sort themselves out!

Commitment to international law? Hahahahaaha! Ohhhh, ohh, thats a good one.
Anywho, this really is the single stupidest wedge issue imaginable. This is a tiny, tiny fraction of the overall issue (if you are of the political bent to consider it an issue at all outside of the crippling underfunding of the departments involved); Even if everything went Sunaks way hed still lose! Labour would criticize the ridiculous costs that make it so stupidly expensive you might as well just buy them all houses here, meanwhile the nazis like Braverman wont except much less than a country wide 'cleansing'.
I know that the Torys have basically screwed absolutely everything on almost every conceivable level for every demographic including their hard liners, but surely, surely there was something else he could have pinned his entire premiership to than this debacle?

  34. @nathanber4002

    December 18, 2023 at 1:07 am

This will stop them coming to the UK in the first place so it's a win. Too many stupid people these days who think trying to stop ILLEGAL immigration is some how racist or immoral, all the while they know nothing about economics and the how we are paying the price of an aggressively rising bill.

Welcome to legal immigrants, MY WIFE INCLUDED. Bye to illegal migrants.

  35. @Hexagonal_Goblin

    December 18, 2023 at 1:07 am

So Sunak is just making it illegal for the courts to disagree with him? Literal tyrant behavior

  36. @anzakaleem7932

    December 18, 2023 at 1:07 am

I don’t know why you are just talking about Rwanda bill as normal. Like take a moment to look back that UK wants to send the asylum seekers to a third country far away from its borders. Like wtf. Why did a farmer in Afghanistan help NATO and ISAF forces against Taliban? So one day he can remove the extremism from his country, or otherwise live in Rwanda! Like what? 😮

  37. @aubs400

    December 18, 2023 at 1:07 am

Also worth noting the Rwanda proposal is largely meant to deal with men- thus treating one gender as second-class, in that it largely focuses on removing men from the humane and legal protections offered in the UK.
