Nigerian tech entrepreneur Oscar Eponimo’s childhood was fuelled by hunger. When his father got sick and couldn’t work, the whole family went hungry.
But could Oscar have the answer to food waste? He’s invented an app called Chowberry which connects people to supermarket food that would ordinarily end up in the bin.

Tens of thousands of organisations have been caught out by a computer virus called WannaCry. The malicious software locks data away and demands a payment of up to $300 (£230) a time before it will restore scrambled files. In the UK, many hospitals fell victim and some health organisations diverted ambulances and cancelled non-essential services as they sought to contain and clean up the infection. Infections in more than 99 nations are being reported by security firms. It appears that the hardest hit are Russia and Spain.

It is hard to fathom why in this age of technology so many Countries can barely feed and educate themselves. Governments receiving cash instead of the people receiving basic internet access and tools to grow and prosper with seems to be the entire problem. Government Politicians and Diplomats never go hungry but the people they are sworn to protect do.

I was 6 years old when my Father helped me grow my first garden I loved my garden by the next year I had a big garden that provided more food than our family could eat we even canned the vegetables. There is so much joy and pleasure in growing a garden. You value what God has made and his gift of food. Grow gardens eat what God has provided enjoy good work with your hands. Plant fruit trees eat fresh fruit.
