He’s the only man that save this country. I’m fed up with mealy mouthed politicians who for years have had their snouts in the trough. Since we left the EU, we are seeing just how ineffective and talentless these people are, when needing to run things themselves. Not so Farage. It’s quite obvious that the majority of people in Britain who are honest hard working men and women, who work long hours for inadequate pay, are overlooked in favour of the squealing bitching minorities. I’m fed up with these fawning apologetic politicians. We need someone with a backbone.

The Tory establishment completely misunderstood that they were elected by a more populist voting block. They betrayed their voters' choices and deserve to be kicked out of power.
Not that Keir Starmer will be any better.

It is beyond sad that bell whistlers in the 90's who had a vision and saw that it could turn out very bad for the EU when immigration and religious persons turn against the West are now right. But what bothers me at the same time and maybe even slightly more is the fact that the EU members while debating could never have imagined that a few wars would ignite a mass immigration to the West. All this time they have done nothing to save guard the gates of the EU. Pompous as they are they have been endulging in capitalism and lobbying for all kinds of materialism over the backs of the people who made it possible for them in the first place…..I am grossly disgusted by politics of the EU and of my own country the Netherlands.

I'm impressed how they manage to come up with a worse candidate each and every time. There is however no one worse than Farage, so I doubt they'll go for him. That would be skipping too many steps.

  23. @PIASOC

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

The Tories will merge with Reform, and create a conservative party, with Farage as the leader.

  24. @mikkolukas

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

Electing him as leader, while he was the main instigator for the embarrassing Brexit chaos that the UK is living through these years, would just be bonkers.
The rest of Europe are already shaking their heads in disbelief of the UK circus – electing him, would just make us loose all belief that the UK would return to any sane state in any near future.

Ferage priminister ? too little too late . The country will be too far gone by then ! Its just a matter of time now . Unfortunately this once amazing country will be no more and every last one of us should be absolutely ashamed of our selves. Our ancestors will be turning in their graves 😢

  26. @user-lf2ov1eu9y

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

By taking on Farage as leader, the Conservative party would secure a huge working class vote, especially from places such Hull, Middlesbrough, Lancaster etc

  27. @Ticklestein

I would say admiration is a strong word. It’s more like “showing affinity”.

  30. @MrAlen6e

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

All he has to do is paint the current party as " not real tories" this will bring the based back , have a labour period so the electorate forgets and this will guarantee as hes return as someone whp will truly bring the " true conservative "

  31. @user-ii6rb8zk3i

I'd prefer a non labour, conservative or liberal democrat leadership and government. Something new not engrained statists.

  35. @akashmihir84

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

Torry has become a brown party. Farage could make it a little more white.

  36. @lgirish

This is not journalism but conspiracy theory

  37. @scotandiamapping4549

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

Fun fact: Farage once tried to run in former speaker John Bercow's seat of Buckingham in 2010. Not only did he fail to take it, he also lost to a former MEP named John Stevens running for a group called "Buckinghamshire Campaign for Democracy"

  38. @agniksen8507

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

But I thought leaders were selected from Conservative and Labour as the two major political parties 😊

  40. @msk2058

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

Welp, seems UK truly is doomed if that happens

This will be so entertaining for us on the other side of the channel amiright? 🍿🥡

  41. @JUSTAMFG2005

    December 18, 2023 at 1:24 pm

I can guarantee this. If the Tories drop Sunak tomorrow and fast-track the process for Farage to become their leader and PM, they would be competitive in the next general election.

  42. @spotable2
