How rotten does a party have to be to accept Boris Johnson as its leader? I hope they will lose elections for decades for this.

Thank you so much for doing these videos and actually making some sense out of what is happening in British politics at the moment. Who will win? Anyone up for Russian Roulette?

Sociopathic liars to a man. What a shambolic party the Conservatives are. Not fit to rule, unable to govern and completely incompetent in every way. England is in deep trouble with these shysters. If they get their way America will breeze in and rape England after Brexit. Scotland, thank God, has a different path to follow. Britain is finished, murdered by the Conservative party and it's "England first" politics.

in my opinion if a party's head changes either the old person stays PM until they resign from that specific position if not done already, or they should get a public election of which party does the PM so they cant go on a switcheroo.

    January 3, 2024 at 7:44 am

Is this even democracy anymore? The people who voted no on brexit are getting a new prime minister that depends on the brexit. This sound like a power grab race more than anything.

"It would be a mistake tp put two candidates into the final round who will polarize the party"

You mean giving the party members a meaningful choice? Lol, people complain about how primary elections in the US are rigged or undemocratic, but this process seams to be about keeping the voters out of politics as much as possible.

    January 3, 2024 at 7:44 am

I don’t understand why so many people originally voted for the Conservative party

Well then again these are the same people that voted for a party with no policy’s except to leave the EU

Stupid. Stop wasting time and let Boris get on with it.

  28. @Wermhole

A simple way to improve these videos would be a simple text somewhere in the video of the date (and in some cases the time) of the making of the video (timezone taken into account) so that we know if it's fresh or not. Like the brexit videos can get quite muddled nowadays since the plans changed with the winds.

So they're leaving the eu over the lack of democracy; and their pm is essentially unelected. Fun stuff.

  37. Earl Minime

    January 3, 2024 at 7:44 am

There's a lot of people in this comment section that are going to be very unhappy when BoJo wins. Stewart has the momentum? Really? He's a one man labour/remainer sleeper cell and everyone here hopes that's true.
