White British citizens have NOTHING to be ashamed of and EVERYTHING to be proud of. In 1833, Britain used 40% of its national budget to buy freedom for all slaves in the Empire. Britain borrowed such a large sum of money for the Slavery Abolition Act that it wasn't paid off until 2014. This means all white living British citizens working until 2014 helped pay for the ending of the slave trade with their taxes. If black slavery ancestors demand reparations for historical wrongs that they have not directly experienced then white British citizens have the right to demand EQUAL tax rebate for LIVED taxation, not to mention financial burden across generations. In my case 29 years of tax back along with all the abolition related tax paid by my immediate ancestral family from 1833 onwards…. Be careful what you wish for …Historical injustice work’s many ways…

William Gladstone was born in Liverpool England to Scottish parents so he was therefore throughly British and very well regarded .
So Its dispicable that his descendents should sully his good name by appologising and paying Reparations for something they didn't do, to people who didn't suffer.

Actually our own people were also treated like the forking slaves years ago some my ancestors can they give me some money as well , I am now stating some thing that is completely my sister eldest daughter lived with a Muslim for years and he never married her .But his two eldest daughters were made to go to the Moyst for a while although I cannot spell it , the Muslim children used to say to them we are going to take over your country one day and it seems to be happening slowly but surily .
