Actually not everyone on benefits is sponging, some people actually are mentally ill and need the help. Without that there will be anarchy, so both of you don't know what your talking about, over 100k people is pocket change for the government. There's no life that can be made on 500 quid a month. The government wasted billions on the covid pandemic, who looks like the dumb ass now? Speaking 1st hand, I'm mentally ill and if I go out to work let's just say I'll hurt people without my mental help.

What would I do if the gov cut my benefits? Go out and cause anarchy wherever I go. It's those benefits that are keeping me away from other humans. Safer for you lot trust me.

I was going to write an essay on what the Tories and to some extent the labour party have done to british industry, but I'm weary off it and weary off all lies the Tories come out with,
There are no well paid jobs out there , there are low paid part time jobs out there , millions of them jobs, I just find it a bit rich to hear a spoilt rich kid who had it all handed to him on a plate , to tell someone to go out a wipe some grandads arse for 11 quid a hour.

https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/governmentpublicsectorandtaxes/publicsectorfinance/articles/howisthewelfarebudgetspent/2016-03-16 This is how the welfare budget is spent. The greatest amount go's to people ether over retirement age or supplementing companies that don't pay their staff enough. Bringing this BS out every time just give Labour more ammunition.

I have a bad back to use that term, I'm on strong opioid painkillers, and morphine. My lower spine is essentially fucked, I have no control. Over bowels or bladder I just go, can't feel anything after sitting for ten mins, but it's just a bad fucking back. Unbelievable the shite these people come out with. I haven't once been able to run round with my kids play foorltie with them etc, can't take dog for a walk, can't go for a nice walk. With the wife, but it's just a bad back. Yeah, and enola is a mild stomach upset. Always pick on the disabled we don't have big expensive lawyers like mps and corporations.

Where is the money from those fake business claims during lockdown?
Fraud all let off and not investigated?
    The immigrants in hotels.
Why pick again on the disabled?
So many died and suffered last time.
Millions being paid back because dwp underpaid disabled.
Costs so much for all the incorrect assessments.

i am on benefits and have the brain power to hold a job but because i couldn't get any good qulifications due to my autism and related conditions finding work that won't put me in a negative is hard as hell. i have also been looking and activly seeking therapy for years since 2016 when my gramps passed away for barivment. till this day i have not seen a therapist. i was getting one but when i said i wanted to try therapy without medication due to a history of truma related to medication they said they couldn't help. so i am now left pushing forward with alcahol hoping to see a proffesional to help unload years mental stress and find a stable job that won't put me right back to stage 0. edit (i was alos told and encoraged by the benefits team to underplay the exstend of my own abilites)

Labour and Torys have stolen tax payer's money hand over foot ,wasting money on their vanity projects that line their chums pockets ..

Letting in milions of immigrants legal and illegal low IQ low skilled that have lowered the standard of living and wages…
The corperations and super rich have benefited from this…

Between them they have created a crime and benefit epidemic with their policies..

This reporter is reading a miss directed script…

Have we all forgotten it was the bankers, and their dodgy deals to get huge benefits who bankrupted the country in 2008?

  31. @PA-ss5cq

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

Oh but we do, whether or not we admit it. Or, of course, if you're one if them. "Evil tories", lol, I really hope you're less than 12 years old, if you're older you're just sad.

  32. @jamiebeecham7020

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

How would that work then when 90 of all legal and illegal immigrants don't work and live a life of luxury off the rest of us. People that work get paid less than people get on benefits so why would people want to work to pay a huge tax bill and be worse off than they would be on benefits. The government make it harder for people to work.

  33. @MrRobbob1984

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

I never stated this a fact. Just reiterating what my neighbour advised me. In hindsight its likely a combination of several benefits. Regardless, this allegedly stops him from pursuing employment. Just repeating what I've been advised. Vote Labour, vote Conservative… does it matter which? This country is a mess.

  34. @michaelkiddle3149

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

  35. @TONEmt148

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

What little credibility this channel had left is gone now they signed that lying buffoon Boris Johnson, a leader of a country that said let the bodies pile high is obviously unfit to be classed as human. Attacking the welfare and public services of this country for the last decade has done it no good socially or financially, so i doubt it will work in the future. Shame on you Patrick Crusty, for having such enthusiasm over what will inevitably cause pain and suffering to a minority that already have it very, very hard.

  36. @steveguy1975

    December 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm

someone needs to pay for all these legal & illegal immigrants living in hotel's, so its down to mr average & the disabled & sick to foot the bill ,
    Vote reform party ASAP,👍

Andy Burnham’s Britain: What will the country look like under the ‘King of the North’s’ leadership?

Published

on

By

What will an Andy Burnham government *actually* look like?

We dissect the radical “Manchesterism” blueprint Burnham wants to bring to the heart of government. From establishing a decentralized “No. 10 North” nerve centre to launching a massive post-war council housing push, Burnham is promising to radically rewire Britain.

However, critics are already raising red flags. With national debt soaring, can his sweeping plans for the renationalisation of transport and utilities survive contact with the markets? More importantly, is Burnham pulling a “bait-and-switch” on the British electorate by abandoning the very centrist manifesto that Labour was elected on under Keir Starmer?

We fast-forward to 2030 to look at the balanced reality of Burnham’s Britain—the major public sector shifts, the potential tax squeeze on the middle class, and the structural friction that could define his premiership.

Is he the saviour the working class has been waiting for, or a Westminster insider in regional clothing? Watch to find out.
