R. Kelly – For You (Lyrics)

Spotify:

Lyrics:

[Intro]
You don’t have to worry
I’ll be there for you, listen

[Chorus]
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me (oh)
All you have to do is just call me, I’ll be there for you (oh baby)
Girl, it’s true (alright), only for you
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 1]
I understand your every need
And how you feel about the way, he left you
Take my hand, come go with me
And let me show you how much I care about you
Girl when you need someone…
(Someone there to never leave you, think of me, and)

[Chorus]
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me
All you have to do is just call me, I’ll be there for you (oh baby)
Girl, it’s true, only for you
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 2]
If I told you once, I told you twice
That when you need to cry, I’ll be your shoulder
Girl, I would never say goodbye
I’ll be your miracle, gotta let you know
Girl when you need someone…
(Someone there to always be there for you, think of me, and)

[Chorus]
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me
All you have to do is just call me, I’ll be there for you
Girl, it’s true, only for you
Oh baby

[Instrumental break]

[Bridge]
You need a man who’s (honest)
And (understanding)
Gotta be
(Satisfying)
And someone
(Belonging)
Girl I’m gonna be (affection)
And I’m gonna be (needful)
Girl you need someone (dedicated)
I need you to know
That I’ll be there for you whenever you need me

[Chorus]
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me (alright)
All you have to do is just call me (all you have to do)
I’ll be there for you (and I’ll be right there)
Girl, it’s true, only for you
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me
All you have to do is just call me (my name), I’ll be there for you (oh baby)
Girl, it’s true, only for you
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me (alright)
All you have to do is just call me (is call me, I’ll come running baby)
I’ll be there for you (only for you)
Girl, it’s true (girl it’s true), only for you
Girl, I’ll be right there when you need me

Genghis Khan Died 150 Years Earlier — And Still Decided Who Could Rule Asia

Published

on

Genghis Khan died in 1227. A hundred and fifty years later, his name still decided who was allowed to rule Asia — and the most powerful man alive was not on the list. In 1393, in the city of Baghdad, a mint struck a silver coin for Timur. It carried three things. A date, a mint, and a name. The name was not his. He would go on to take Delhi, sack Damascus, and capture an Ottoman sultan on the field at Ankara, and the silver leaving his mints would still carry another man’s name. Timurid court chronicles do trace his father’s line back to Tumbinai. No written evidence from Timur’s own lifetime, or from any time before it, makes that link directly. That is the most contested thing in this story, and the coin is the one document in it that no court historian could edit.

Every factual claim in this video is sourced. Where the sources disagree, the video says so instead of picking the tidier version. Where something is a reconstruction rather than a record, it is named as one.

Vintage in Pills CHANEL Fall 1996 Paris – Fashion Channel

Chanel Autumn/Winter 1996 by Karl Lagerfeld explored military uniforms through the house’s tailoring and couture techniques. Sharply cut suits featured structured jackets with gold accents, paired with either knee-length skirts or tailored trousers. Beige tweed was combined with shiny gold lamé, adding contrast to the heavier military-inspired pieces. Black velvet dresses appeared throughout the collection in different silhouettes for both day and evening.

Gold details extended to the accessories, including Chanel clips, metallic waist belts and brooches positioned at the décolleté. The collection also featured buttoned jackets, tailored coats and military-inspired detailing throughout. Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Marpessa Hennink and Karen Mulder were among the models walking the runway, with hair styled smoothly and pinned up and makeup defined by dark eyes and deep red lipstick.
