Perhaps we as true blooded English people should now stand up to the.government and demand a replacement with one that will uphold true British heritage and can make England , England that our grandparents fought for

8:38 Gutter politics ? Remember the "New Labour new danger" poster and Tong Blair's eyes made red and upside down in 1997 ?? The kind of thing that impresses 5 year olds. They both do it and it's pathetic.

Yes there may be a million job vacancies but you need to have the requisite experience for many of them so for many 'job seekers' that rules out a large proportion of those vacancies. Also if you don't have your own transport that's another large proportion of vacancies that are excluded. Part time jobs may not offer enough to live on so those are no good either. SO it's simplistic and inaccurate to label people as 'work shy'.
Who the hell spends 30 hours a week looking for work in this day and age where you set up 'jobs by email' and job vacancies matching your criteria are delivered to your email in box ??
The days of knocking on doors or browsing jobs in newspapers are gone. It takes about 2 to 3 hours a week. Check your email, phone a few agencies. That's it. It's all about senior civil servants coming up with ideas and proposals to please their bosses and sound good to the electorate.

One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter. Until 1948 in the British mandate for Palestine the Jews had Haganah, at the time it was categorised as a terrorist organisation. The label of an organisation depends on who's labelling it and the politics of the time.

The next BBC Director General will be a black muslim trans asylum seeker in a wheelchair

  20. @peterwiles7953

The trouble is there is a hard core of work shy in this country who are treated as lost causes and therefore left to their own devices whilst if you hard working people are unfortunate enough to be out of work they will threaten to stop your benefit if you don’t get back in the workforce asap

There are 2 sides to the unemployment problem. My grandson tried everywhere to get a job, any job, but couldn't even get a job stacking shelves. He applied at a Tesco's that hadn't even opened its doors yet, but didn't even get a reply. The only people who were taken on were black and ethnic, not a single white English person is employed there. He had to leave the country to find work.

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
