Soundbytes: Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso has signed an executive order creating a citywide task force to prevent school violence and strengthen emergency preparedness following incidents of campus violence in recent weeks. Moreno added that students found involved in any of the aforementioned violations, whether committed inside or outside school premises, could face expulsion, barring them from enrolling in Manila’s public schools. Meanwhile, Moreno is confident the INC rally in Manila will be peaceful.
