Hamas and Israel Ceasefire held into third day | BBC News
The ceasefire between Hamas and Israel has been held for a third day.
Hamas has confirmed it’ll release the next Israeli hostages on Saturday in exchange for Palestinian’s held by Israel.
The UN said more than 900 aid trucks had entered the Gaza strip on Monday.
US President Donald Trump expressed doubt that the truce will hold through all three phases and one of his executive orders reverse sanctions on extremist Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.

UK net migration down 48% year on year | BBC News
Net migration to the UK fell to 171,000 in 2025, new figures show – the lowest level since 2012, excluding the Covid pandemic
The figure reached a peak of 944,000 in the year to March 2023, but has been falling.
The Office for National Statistics said the main reason behind the fall last year was a drop in non-EU nationals arriving for “work-related reasons”, which was down 47%.
However, the decrease in net migration is “likely to be temporary”, the Migration Observatory said, as “lower immigration will eventually feed through into lower emigration”.
