Extè is an Italian fashion brand founded in 1996 by Ittierre S.p.A. (IT Holding Group).
Extè is derived from the Latin ex tempore, which literally means “beyond time.”
Several fashion designers, including Antonio Berardi, Sergio Ciucci, and Alessandro De Benedetti, have followed Extè’s artistic path.
Extè made its debut in January 1996 at the Bovisa Gasometer in Milan.
That year, “vacuum garments” are invented, with “the expiry date of the product” printed on them.
In 2001, he unveiled the e.chair, an interactive and multi-purpose chaise longue designed by Chiara Cantono and manufactured by Brunati Italia.
Then, in partnership with the magazine GQ, he shows the seven “virtual models” used in brand communication alongside photographer Gian Paolo Tomasi.

Vintage in Pills GIVENCHY Spring 1997 Couture Paris – Fashion Channel
Alexander McQueen presented his debut Haute Couture collection for Givenchy as the Spring/Summer 1997 season in Paris, introducing a bold interpretation of the French house’s couture heritage through dramatic tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and elaborate craftsmanship.
The collection featured a palette of gold and white, structured jackets, corseted gowns, military-inspired embroidery, flowing blouses, and richly detailed eveningwear. Ornate gold embellishments, Renaissance-inspired motifs, sweeping capes, and theatrical accessories highlighted McQueen’s distinctive creative vision while showcasing the exceptional savoir-faire of the Givenchy ateliers.
Blending the house’s couture traditions with McQueen’s signature dramatic aesthetic, the collection marked the beginning of a new chapter in Givenchy’s history and one of the most talked-about couture debuts of the 1990s.
