This video is full of caveats already, but let me just reiterate:

All of the dates within this video are subject to change. With the planning already disrupted its possible other dates will be shifted in the hours ahead. We worked hard to ensure that the timings are as accurate as they can be right now, so we're very sorry if any elements end up being inaccurate or misleading.

Also, due to the nature of this video, I made the video alone overnight in less than 12 hours. So while I tried my absolute best to ensure there are no technical or graphical errors, it's possible there will be some. If there are, again I apologise, but I felt it was too important to delay sharing this information – Jack

'Kingdoms' as referred to in the Act of Union – was the linguistic syntax for country. England and Scotland no longer exist as soverign nations – by law, from that moment, they were merged in every respect. In the event of Scottish independence, a new state would have to be created. England, would continue to be dissolved into the United Kingdom and Scotland would have to declare it's soverignty on the international stage.

That means, no G7, G10, G20, UN, WTO, NATO, AUKUS, Council of Europe etc. Scotland would have to reapply for each of these organisations. And would not qualify for many, unless it compromised UK and Anglo security.

An independant Scotland, would also not be able to join the EU for perhaps decades. This would lead to an aggressive period of austerity and recession, despite the party in power. As the new scottish state wouldn't be able to afford borrowing at new state rates.

This isn't to say I'm against Scottish independence, whatever the democratic will of the people. But I wish there wasn't this division, when our culture has created the modern world, and much which is great about it.

I find it weird when Scottish claim, they are ruled from Westminster. Scottish blood runs throughout the royal family and we've had several scottish prime ministers. We are the same.

Don't let recency bias blur your vision. If you can look back to the battle of bannockburn, you can look much more recently to James VI and then Blair and Brown.

Actually, even look at the cabinet in westminister over the last decade… numerous powerful scots in direct government.

    John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I would love to see an investigation into the recent stories on Twitter that US average life expectancy has now dipped below the Chinese average life expectancy. As already mentioned, the reason why Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's speech was poignant was because he met the Queen as a young boy when his father, Pierre Trudeau, was Prime Minister. Pierre was more than 3 years into his premiership when Justin was born, and the Queen came to Canada about 9 times during his time as Prime Minister, meaning Justin very likely met her (not to mention Pierre went to London many times, bringing Justin with him).

Imagine being in Truss’ position. You meet the queen and she appoints you as the new PM, believing that you have some time to work with her, only to find out that the queen has passed away and only just two days after becoming prime minister, you’re now the head of government under a new sovereign.
