Lily James has captured hearts as Cinderella, Downton Abbey’s Lady Rose, Natasha in War and Peace, Mrs de Winter in Rebecca, and Pamela Anderson in Pam & Tommy – and throughout her screen career she’s taken on various beauty guises, from that of filmic English rose to Hollywood bombshell.
But it’s not after a stint in the make-up chair that she feels her best, though. “I feel most beautiful after a long night’s sleep,” the actress reveals in our exclusive video, above. “With my friends, after a bath… [it’s] all those things that are good for you” that make her radiate.

This is the way to do a beauty commercial. No lectures, no “sex sells” or “buy this product to look like a goddess” gimmicks. Just perfect genuineness from the interviewee, just giving her tips and tricks. Simple, but effective. Also, Lily James is quite beautiful as a person to begin with, and being a beautiful person makes you beautiful in other ways as well. Some persons kill their physical beauty by just being bad people.

I really like her in Cinderella. We all make mistakes. It’s just that now whenever I see her I can’t disassociate her from that scandal. I always see her and Dominic in my head. I guess I don’t condone cheating whatever the reason may be because I’m bothered even though I don’t hate her. Sad.
