John Galliano presented a 20-look collection in an intimate salon setting on Avenue Foch in Paris, shifting away from large-scale spectacle toward a more contained presentation format.
The collection revisited his long-standing references to 1930s-inspired tailoring and cinematic glamour, expressed through sharply constructed jackets, pencil skirts, and bias-cut silhouettes. Fabrics alternated between structured and fluid, with tailored wool pieces contrasted against silk slips, organza layers, and latex-treated surfaces.
Key looks included cropped and distressed jackets styled over slim skirts, silk plaids in dégradé finishes worn over slipdresses, and layered combinations of sheer organza and coated textures. Eveningwear focused on draped gowns and elongated silhouettes, often defined by soft gathering, halter necklines, and asymmetric construction.

I remember visiting John's Red Rock Memorial Museum and just folding up and crying. I loved this everyday kind of man. More men need to possess his love for our beautiful earth and being able to sing his heart.
I miss him but his music brings us through our daily life, it does mine.

I have always wondered how "Annie's Song" (which is great also) became a worldwide hit yet this song never was given the accolades it deserves. Friend of mine met him in Bemidji MN when my buddie's rock band and JD were the co-stars. He was John Deutchendorf at the time and my buddy got to sit and talk with him for about an hour the afternoon of the evening show. He says all he can really remember was that he was such a nice guy and that his remarkable talent was quite evident even then.

This may be the most beautiful love song ever written. I used to think that "Annie's Song" was the perfect love song, but the more I listen to "For You," the more I am convinced that the words, the melody, and the spirit of love in John's voice make this the most heart-rending love song ever. John had such a loving heart and beautiful soul that only he could express himself this way, and his voice captures the truth of what being "in love" and unconditional love really are and what they mean.
