Greece debt crisis: ‘No more, enough is enough’ BBC News

Published

on

It’s emerged that Greek’s Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras called the European Commission President last night and to find out what a last minute deal on the debt crisis would involve. It comes as key deadlines are fast approaching for the country to repay some of its debt or risk moving a step closer to leaving the euro. Not only does the country owe a huge repayment to the IMF, but at the same time, its bailout deal is set to expire. A referendum is still going ahead on Sunday for voters to decide whether to accept the latest terms of a bail out agreement – the Prime Minister has called on people to reject the proposals or he’ll step down.
