UN court hears South Africa case accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza | BBC News
The UN’s International Court of Justice is hearing a case brought by South Africa accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
The submission also calls on the court to order Israel to stop military operations there.
The ICJ will deliver only an opinion on the genocide allegation as the case is not a criminal trial, although it is being closely watched.
Israel has vehemently rejected the accusation as “baseless”.

The president of Fifa, Gianni Infantino, is under increasing pressure over his now-cancelled plan to sell stakes in the World Cup and other tournaments.
The European football confederation UEFA has said it has no confidence in him, and is threatening legal action. The football associations of Wales, Finland, Sweden and Serbia have withdrawn their support for his re-election as president, and England’s football association is set to follow suit.
The BBC’s sports reporter Joe Lynskey tells us how Mr Infantino has won favour with football authorities over his decade running Fifa – and what it will take for him to hang on now.
We also hear about Infantino’s close relationship with US President Donald Trump, whose extended family was linked to Fifa’s partial privatisation plans. The main investor was due to be Joshua Kushner, whose brother Jared Kushner is President Trump’s son-in-law.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino says he has scrapped the controversial plan to sell off stakes in the governing body’s major competitions, following widespread opposition.
Infantino said it had become clear the project had “created divisions” that are “no longer in the interest” of its original objective.
The Swiss official added: “As a result, this proposal will not proceed.”
Infantino had offered all 211 member associations $40m (£30m) if they backed a proposal for private investment in its tournaments, including the men’s and women’s World Cups.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino says he has scrapped the controversial plan to sell off stakes in the governing body’s competitions to private investors following widespread opposition.
Infantino said it had become clear the project had “created divisions” that are “no longer in the interest” of its original objective.
Infantino had offered Fifa’s 211 member associations $40m (£30m) if they backed a proposal for private investment in its tournaments, including the men’s and women’s World Cups.
However, Uefa – which governs European football – responded by voting to boycott World Cups if the plans went ahead, and other governing bodies also voiced their opposition.

South Africa Genocide – 486 260 South Africans were murdered between 1994 and 2017.
Fifty-eight people died in South Africa today. And yesterday. And tomorrow, 58 more will die. I am not talking about Covid-19 (Coronavirus) deaths. I am referring to the number of murdered people.
With about 2500 deaths so far, world stock exchange prices have declined remarkably – described by some as the worst since the 2008 financial crisis, with some investors fearing an imminent worldwide recession.
Why, despite not one case of Covid-19 in South African at the time of writing, is everyone in the country on high alert while many South Africans and the government remain unconcerned about the scourge of murder that far, far outweighs the Covid-19 threat?
BusinessTech reported that the UN Office on Drugs and Crime’s July 2019 report said more than 486 260 South Africans were murdered between 1994 and 2017.

Nyetanyahu was indicted, like Trump , and supported his IMEC stated at UN vowing it's success depended on destruction of Hamas around sept. 25th, and provoked Palestine with new expansion plans with Hamas attack plans in hand. That's all you need to put Nyetanyahu and Trump in jail for good. For the good and peace of the planet.

According to the BBC: Traders in Gaza are buying food supplies for 10 shekels and then selling them for 200 hundred or 250 hundred shekels. A sack of flour from a supply warehouse costs 60 shekels and is then sold for 300 hundred shekels , which is 5 times more!Is this the way they behave towards one another.

This is a very sensitive case involving losses of lives,systematic displacement of humans causing distress,bombing hospitals and refugee shelters.South Africa has got a strong case,there is clear evidence.Media oulets like BBC and CNN could be held accountable too in this crisis.

Israel says it only wants to destroy Hamas, but from their words, it seems like anyone is Hamas. Including terminally ill people in hospitals, newborn babies, and now their fellow signatory and global peer, South Africa. What a way to think, while having access to billions in military equipment.
