‘The person who gets stuffed in all this is the average British worker.’

Matthew Goodwin tells Mark Dolan the UK economy has become ‘completely addicted’ to the importation of cheap, low-skill labour, which is loved by big business.

I like the confidence this guy speaks but, if you listen to what hes saying "The economy is doing badly because of cheap migrant labor?" Surely if our "great businesses" have cheap labor they would be making record profits and plenty of business would be flowing in because we are out-competing the rest.
This is bullshit, the issues are productivity related, the cost of living is far too high due to big things like not enough housing causing house prices to be unaffordable, Infrastructure spending has been London-centric, no investment in the rest of the country, and the list goes on. Energy/Transport sold off so we have no control of pricing. Tories essentially allow Profits to go into foreign investors' pockets without any re-investment essentially creaming off the public. The more money your working class has the healthier your economy is, not your top 1% making rediculous profits while everyone else stagnates.

When I was in UK. I saw empty boarded up streets under a constant grey sky, litter everywhere.

Homeless people sleeping in doorways. I saw women doing shopping in Tesco wearing their pajamas with what looked like cat whiskers makeup on their faces. Opioid addicts out of their mind and women so drunk they urinated on the streets. Neoliberalism has destroyed it.

UK workers are not available for seasonal farming. Farmers have tried and tried all over the country . They have to be brought in. UK medical staff are underpaid by the Tories. But taxes may need to increase

Generally low value wages are through tory policies or lack of them. No active Industrial strategy. The tiny amount there was was scrapped by Sunak as CoE. A low minimum wage. Low wages for most workers in the public sector, minimal training support, a mess up on modern apprenticeships, with shrunken numbers since the original scheme under Vince Cable in coalition. Tory policies support pushing up housing costs but do not encourage investment into industry, which is low domestically and has collapsed on inward Investment to France. Poor support for technology, R&D & Science and got worse since leaving the EU and Erasmus.

From my perspective, this highlights the importance of having a competitive advantage as investors. Merely mirroring the market strategies of others is insufficient in achieving optimal results. I am currently grappling with the decision to invest in the current market, as it presents both uncertainty and opportunity. Could you share your insights on this matter?

How about the country starts insisting that the unemployed get off their arses and be forced to work? Just because they don't like the job being offered, (welcome to the real world) or they think it's beneath them, (start applying for better employment then). Farmers are whinging about not getting the pickers in, get those sat on their computers playing games all day to do it. They will whine about losing too much money by getting a job, the social benefits, aren't meant to be set at a level that it's more advantageous to be on it than be working.

There is an addiction to cheap labour but also there is an agenda of white genocide, replacing ethnic Europeans and creating a mixed multiculti population in preparation for a one world government lead by the group of people nobody is allowed to criticise or call out.

Certainly! I understand that living expenses and taxes can take up a significant portion of one's income in the UK, which can limit how far that income can go. Even 100k doesn't get you very far and the dream of retiring early is starting to seem like a fairy tale. I have roughly $200,000 in 401(k) that I need to grow quickly. Please leave a comment if you can help.

I worked for a building management company that supplied technical support, cleaning and security.
Most of the cleaning and a lot of the security staff only worked for under 16 hours a week.
The reason for that was if they done any more hours they lost their benefits.
Cheep labour is not cheap for the country

In addition to foreign migration driving down wages Matt Goodwin should expand on these points:

70 years of mass migration has driven population growth.
Britain does not have the energy security to support this growth.
Britain does not have the food security to support this growth.
Britain does not have the resources to sustain this growth.
Britain has no plan to stop foreign migrants out-breeding Britons.
Britain has no controls on family size.
Britain is vulnerable to international inflationary import prices.
Britain has too large a debt.
Britain has lost control of it's borders.
Britain will be unable to get off carbon.

Rishi's solution is to put some spin on carbon capture to boost his Green credentials. He is caught in a trap created by all post war Tory and Labour governments. They neglected clean energy security in favour of cheap energy.

Global Warming requires society constraint and contraction.

Both Labour and Tory party's have put Capitalism first.
Both Labour and Tory party's are faking their Green credentials.
Both Labour and Tory party's have made a mess of Brexit and immigration.
The entire country has no plan or thought to depopulate Britain.
Everybody is living in a delusional Capitalist paradise where Imperial Britain will perform a Moses trick of parting the Irish sea to create more of everything to feed the hungry masses – dream on.

Get rid of EU Asylum laws and start deporting all illegals and over-stayers. That will immediately free up a million homes and reduce energy shortfalls.
Enforce a cap on family size. Modern abortion pills make this a breeze.
    Stop all immigration.
Depopulate now! Global Warming is knock, knock, knocking on your door!

Farage = Brexit = Disaster for the UK.

With a little bit of help from the likes of Cameron + Johnson + Rees-Mogg and the British Media.

Brexit is the greatest con inflicted on a Nation since Germany 1933, which most people in the UK will live to regret.

There was no need to have a referendum, and once out of the EU never to get back in again.

The option of leaving the EU has gone forever, which was something of great value if and when the EU was a failing enterprise, which it wasn't, isn't and not likely to be in the future.

Brexit Britain cast adrift in a very challenging World today.

Brexit was sheer madness perpetrated by a grand delusion of the few.

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
