Scott Galloway on the fight for US men | Americast
There was a gender divide in the US in 2024 and one of the criticisms of the failed Democrat presidential campaign was that they appealed to women and largely ignored men.
So, with the midterms coming up, and the 2028 battle lines being drawn, how much is are political conversations going to centre around who can attract the male vote?
Justinβs been talking to a man whoβs been thinking about that very question.

Russian drone hits Romanian apartment block | BBC News
A Russian drone hit an apartment block in Romania causing a fire and wounding two people, officials say.
The incident happened on Friday in the town of Galati – close to Romania’s eastern border with Ukraine and Moldova.
Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte said “Russia’s reckless behaviour is a danger to us all”, while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Russia’s “war of aggression had crossed yet another line”.
Russian drones have strayed across Romania’s border a number of times during the four-year war with Ukraine, but it is the first time citizens from the Nato country have been hurt. Russia has yet to comment on the incident.

The Brighton beach deaths driving a debate about race | Top Comment Podcast
An inquest has opened into the deaths of three sisters whose bodies were recovered from the sea off the coast of Brighton. The case has led to rampant speculation online, particularly after it emerged that a widely shared image provided by family members appeared to be AI-generated.
From unfounded conspiracies about serial killers, to a broader debate over the handling of cases involving black people, it has captivated TikTok sleuths, some of whom are even turning on each other.
On this episode of Top Comment, Marianna and Matt discuss why the case is receiving so much attention, and how race has played a leading role in the discourse.

Quite so: work at the BBC or Chatham House. Be prepared to be sneaky and underhand with political targets that bear no threat to the nation. Play dirty tricks and psycho-ops against ordinary people and confirm gas attacks that didn't happen or were not carried out by the people you will be conditioned to suspect. Oh, and provide fake evidence about Manafort meeting Assange.

Dear me how bad can the Fake News BBC get ? Is this what the Fake News BBC are passing off as News !
In the real world we have a BBC News blackout of what' happened in London yesterday.
A BBC News blackout of a Judge ordering Hilary Clinton to answer questions put by "Judicial Watch"
A BBC News Blackout of Comey giving evidence and the reopening of the Uranium 1 case. The case where Ex British Spy Christopher Steele produces the Fake Russian Dossier paid for by Hilary Clinton and the DNC etc.

So basically, if you want to spy in Britain wear a baseball cap, sunglasses and grow a big beard so they can't use facial recognition, got it, thanks BBC.

A good spy would be an atheist.
A bad spy would be someone who thinks atheists burn in hell, and there certainly are a few.

The Russian "agents" were spotted because they went to the British Embassy in Moscow had their photographs, iris scan ans fingerprints taken for a Visa for their weekend break in Britain. And these super secret assassins plan hinged on South Western Railway's Sunday timetable.

My favorite image of a spy is the John Lecarre vision or Bill Nighy as Johnny Worricker. I have to say the Brits are the best. Alec Guinness as George Smiley is of course the best ever. There's just something so glamourous about being able to say "I'm just a civil servant in Her Majesty's government". I don't think I got it quite right but you know the line? It's like the paradox of saying you went to public school and you're speaking of Cambridge or Oxford. We don't have anything like that in the US. I suppose there's also something great about that too. Our what you see is what you get is approach has its advantages.
007 doesn't interest me anymore. I'm so tired of the Hollywood blockbuster franchise crap. Give me a six to eight part BBC series of a good spy thriller where not a single shot is fired and no one even jumps a puddle, one where someone reading a secret document in the supply closet is filled with suspense and I'm in heaven. I've watched Tinker Taylor and Smiley's People with Alec Guinness, Ian Richardson, and Bernard Hepton several times and I see things I missed each time. Bernard Hepton's evolution as Toby Esterhase into Smiley's People is brilliant he was a great and understated actor. Or maybe modest is the word? I don't want to give it away in case anyone hasn't read or seen it and wants to. I also love the old series like Callen and The Sandbaggers. Can't get enough of the wonky spies. β€οΈπ
