Migrant Crisis: ‘You should fight for what you want in this world’ BBC News
As many of the refugees being turned away by Hungary look for new routes into the European Union, the BBC’s Fergal Keane meets Noujain Mustaffa, a 16-year-old disabled girl from Kobane in Syria, who is making the long journey to a new life through Croatia with her sister. She recently made the dangerous crossing from Turkey, and hopes to reach her brother in Germany. ”You should fight to get what you want in this world – so yes, it is a journey for a new life,” she said.

Thirty US states are suing Meta for over $1 trillion, accusing it of knowingly designing Instagram and Facebook to be addictive and harmful to children, while concealing what it knew.
If they win, it could force Meta to overhaul the platforms for good, ending features like “like” counts, infinite scroll and autoplay video.

At least 224 people are dead and a state of emergency has been declared after Colombia was hit by one of its largest earthquakes in years.
The death toll is likely to rise, with more feared trapped under collapsed buildings.
The magnitude 7.4 quake struck at 07:34 (12:34 GMT) at a depth of 103km (64 miles) in Chocó province, the country’s geological service said. It was felt across an enormous area, stretching for hundreds of miles across western Colombia.
Many of the deaths have been concentrated in Cali, Colombia’s third most populous city.

Read her story written with Christina Lamb… this girl is so inspiring! She didn't want to leave her country and her parents but she had to, and she is super brave. I couldn't imagine what this journey was like and as she said, refugees are people, not numbers!!! They are human! Some of them are bad, some are good but that's life

Thank you BBC for the report. Nujeen Mustafa lives now in Germany, near Cologne. She is happy and she said, "I personally haven’t met a bad-minded German, and there are many Germans who help refugees."
