I remember when I took out a £10 Wonga Loan at 5000+% interest rate back in the Naughties. I was completely forgotten about for around 10 years and the interest compounded to nearly 3-4 times the UK National Debt at around £7 Trillion. I did appeal to the Rothschilds for Debt forgiveness to which they agreed if I was willing to sell my soul to Beelzebub, which I did to remain out of debt. The Cocaine fuelled Londonistan Elite orgy parties were pretty good as well except for the vague stink in the house. Devil Loans – Monkey Dust

A nanny state that has to help people with everything is not my cup of tea. How about a little personal responsibility for the actions you take. If you haven't learned some simple arithmetic at school, there are sites on the internet that can help you with that. 😉

Excess debt is like alcoholism. It will destroy your existence just as well too.

    Is a mortgage BNPL?

Create a materialistic society, the vast majority of people will be materialistic and unfortunately for some those materials seem to be 'essential' and they are prepared to get into debt for it.

I use bnpl but I budget it so at the end of the period I pay it all off. It upsets them no end….

If I can’t buy outright I won’t buy which did give me a headache many years ago when I bought my car as the garage wanted me to take finance and I did not.

Michelle is right. Staying out of debt can save a lot of heartache
